Just today I am finding that Google Chrome is blocking Eros.com
They have not blocked it in the past and they now say that "Site is listed as suspicious - visiting this web site may harm your computer."
Has anyone any more information to add to this. I am sure I can get in with another browser but I am loath to do so.

Yesterday morning I visited the EROS link from the "Florida college girls" post captured below, and moments later I got the FBI virus that locks your computer stating you have violated some BS BS and wants you to pay $300 via Moneypack to unlock it

I had to bring my computer in to get fixed and cost me $150

The sad thing is many people actually believe this and go ahead and send $300 to these scumbags who deserve to have their balls torched with my cigar lighter until they crackle like a toasted marshmallow

It explained that one of their 3rd party ads wasn't loading correctly and was causing malware programs to mis-interpret it as malware. Apparently they're working on it, but it's nothing to worry about. I did notice my computer was loathe to open it yesterday too though!

So this is a major bad thing for business for the ladies who advertise on Eros. I am now very reluctant to go there and I am sure there many like me who are going to feel the same way. How does one contact Eros? I suspect the ladies may know better than I.

Thanks for that warning. Does anyone who advertises on EROS have their phone number? I can't get it from their site obviously. Those of us who have paid ads there are owed a credit.

However, if you have a PC, you 100% must have both anti-virus software with current definitions, and anti-malware software as well.

There was an article a few years back that said the average unprotected PC running Windows XP gets infected with something in less than half an hour after being connected to the internet.  Now we have newer versions of windows and newer versions of viruses.  It's probably still just as bad.

I get the same warning there.

Apparently some provider websites that also have the Eros banner and/or seal (if it links to Eros) on their website also have the same message appear if those people are not using IE.  If it is on their link page either that page will have the message or if you click the link for Eros, however if it is on their main page or footer area of their website that message will pop up automatically the same way it does on Eros.

Just wanted to give people a heads up ;)

There are no, known, viruses that affect iPhones.

Sure, that could change.  These devices aren't immune to what my come out in the future, but as of right now, 100% safe.

Or, purchase a VPN account. That way your ISP is masked and re-rerouted elsewhere.

Just checked EROS at 5:47 EST. The site opens with the following message:

There was no need to spend $150.  Did you have an up to date anti-virus program?  If not there are a number of good free ones.  If you had one and it didn't catch the virus or clean it you could always have reloaded windows.  A pain but a lot cheaper.  A even better way is to use something like Macrim Reflect (free version) before you have a problem and image your drive.  It's easy to roll back then.  Hell, you could even have tried Windows built in system restore.  Anyway, if you'd like more info PM me.

It does have an interesting format. IDK if I'll use this site over Eros, but it's good to know about it.

BTW, Eros is now working fine on my Firefox Browser. :)
