Some clubs don't want their rooms "worked" by non employees.

Apparently a woman is not allowed in nyc club unless she is with a guy or seeking employment.

...In South Florida, there are many clubs that do not allow unescorted women in. The reason being a jealous wife or girlfriend who is looking for her husband/boyfriend can enter the club and start alot of trouble,  Believe me, I have seen this happen!  Sometimes if you just speak to the doorman or management and just talk to them, they will make an exception. In Vegas they are strict also. A girlfriend and I wanted to go to a famous club there and the two of us were denied entrance. We explained it was girls night out, the clubs were all packed and we just wanted a quiet place to relax and enoy ourselves. They ended up giving us a front row table and a round of drinks....Woo-hooo!!!!!

Is it that inconceivable that a bi woman may actually go to strip club as a CUSTOMER? Paying one by the way.

Whole thing is kind of hilarious considering that in my "civvie" life I am working on deals with several clubs around the country (as a vendor) but I can't be a customer in one.

I once had an irate girlfriend track me down to Chettahs in south Florida.  The door staff refused her entry and called me out to deal with it.  Awkward, but not as unpleasant as the scene that would likely have ensued if they had allowed her in.  In the end, I tipped the doorman and dumped the gf.

On the other hand, I've frequently seen unaccompanied women in clubs in NYC.
