Good Afternoon NYC!

My mother is coming to NYC for the first time and I am having a wee bit of a hard time finding and choosing a goo jazz lounge. Does anyone have any good suggestions on a sultry, dinner and drinks offered, and if possible a nice swanky dance floor/crowd.  

Your keen knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

Smoke, Jazz Standard, there are many who are great.

Dizzy Jazz  
 then Iridium , Smoke Jazz club ..  

if you need I gave addresses but  think you may google that

 Dizzy Jazz  - there is possible to dance ..if your mom is proactive and have a partner- upscale place  

More funny place it is not a Jazz but Piano Club Samovar !!

 there THERE it can be as sultry as you mom may want  want to the best crowd of course  Friday and Saturday

 also Swing 46 .. may be    
 bad that most Jazz places becoming more performance venue . as Blue Note  .

They're world famous.  All the best of the best play there.  They have food and drinks but don't think there is any dance floor.  NYC you need a cabaret license to have dancing as well as liquor and live music.  A lot of places don't bother.

you can have  more floor in Dizzy but it is not either sultry place it is romantic upper class place
