Tipping is Nice

Hi everyone. I am new to the "hobby" and was wondering about tipping? What is a good tip? What is too much? I made a "donation" of $220 for a session and tipped $50. Was that too much? Too little? I want to visit again (maybe a different place), and I'm curious what is the standard. Anyone who can help with this, I'd be very appreciative! Thanks!

This amount is just about right. I've tipped more on other occasions but it was because the provider went way above and beyond her call of duty. In general $50 is fine.

there isnt a standard to tipping if you feel that the service was worth an extra $50 then tip...

First thing you should know is, you never HAVE to tip. Tip when the service is fantastic and $50.00 is an excellent tip for $220 p/hr session.

Tipping should be something you do when the service is good and $50.00 is an average tip.  when service doesn't seem like service $100 is not out of the question.

once in a while you find a massage parlor where the mamasan charges you 40 for 30 min.  In this instance, tip 100 for FS.

...Tipping is always appreciated although it shouldnt be expected. Also it depends on what kind of provider your going to see. Independent: should have told you the full price on the phone. Agency: Tips help being that some of your money wont be going to the girl. Massage Parlor : Please tip them!

I agree, tipping is a matter of personal choice.  I usually tip as matter of course.  For example, I recently saw a lady in Upstate NY (a little different than NYC).  I tipped $40 for a $200 session.

It does depend on the nature of the provider:  Independent usually not because it is a complete price and they don't have to split; Agency a tip is appropriate because of the split in proceeds; Massage Parlor tips are expected for extra service.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info, guys. The girl I went to was great and she certainly had a good time as well. She mentioned a tip (which kind of surprised me as I was under the impression that normally a tip is not mentioned), and I figured that $50 was good. To be honest, if I am going to give over half or more of the "session" price in tip, then I'd have to already have a relationship with the woman I'm seeing. Maybe I'm cheap, but that's just my feeling. Truthfully, I'm likely going to try and see this one again, so maybe that $50 will go up eventually.
Again, thanks!

I tipped $100 for a $300 service, but it was my first time (and the easiest time I've had setting up with a provider) and the woman was excellent ... and she was an independent

But I have a question, with agencies and massage parlor, is it smart to "overtip" in hopes that you're be known as such and maybe get better service the next time around, or is the turn-over so great that it doesn't pay to do so?
