this may occur because you are without a review for almost 2 years and your history of reviews is very inconsistent

I don't know why, but NYC seems to be particularly high in guys who flake out, either in the booking process, or worse yet, they book and don't show.

I don't know why anyone would do that, nor why we seem to have a higher number of guys like that than other places.

I wonder if it's not a higher percentage, but just seems that way because NYC is a highly active place for us.  Eros has over 550 escorts listed in the NYC area and almost 200 have the "available now" tag.

I don't know any city that even comes close.  LA is less than half that.  Assuming that there is an equally high number of guys, there would also be a lot more flakes, but still, maybe, not more percentagewise?

Or not.  I think I am reaching because I don't want to think my city is full of assholes.  :-

Unfortunately, you haven't had a ter review since 2011. Its possible you may have taken time off or went utr
So potential clients may be wary. plus looks like your last scores were kinda low

I tour NY and barely have any cancellations when I visit. I also think clients in NY are far better than clients I've met in any other city.

DC/VA on the other hand is about 50% cancellations/rob/ncns/just plain assholes.

you have many 7's, which leads the reader to assume that rating inflation had occurred

Could it be that the guys felt no connection, maybe it sounded too business like or the rates didnt impress them?  Maybe all of the above or just a singular gut reaction that told them to look elsewhere.
Women also have the ability to as you say "flaked" because they just didnt get the vibe.
Traffic travels both ways.

I've been in NYC for about 5 months now and I've never had so many flakey men contact me in several years I've been sidelining as a companion. What is up with that? I'll receive a decent email from someone saying they'd like to get together, reply immediately with my phone number and ask them to call me and then, nothing. Are all the gentlemen with manners on the West coast?

flaked out on a provider.

However I can think of 4 times ladies have left me hanging on confirmed appointments without so much as a text or email. I am sure there were more, but I tend not to dwell on the negatives.

That's not counting last minute cancellations.

Twice I was given the wrong room number, and once sent to the wrong hotel.

One time I was about 20 minutes late because of traffic and the lady freaked out on me

Is there really a need to post a rant or complaint about flakiness?

I make appointments and if I find out something negative or false about the person I book with, I think I have every right to walk away with my money on hand.  Just cause we book doesn't mean cha ching to your register instantly.  Some guys aren't going to take a risk for possibly sub-standred service.

Yes men are flaky, and employees are no better IMO.

But it sure sound like desperation and that you are in need of business.. which is even more of a TURN-OFF

It really starts going downhill.  If you think NY dudes suck ya oughta visit us in DC sometime.

Look, I know it's frustrating. But it is probably just a string of bad luck. it will balance out eventually.
There are plenty of fine gents in NY.
So relax....go with the flow & fergedabotit

... but it could be that many of these guys reaching out to you are in town on business and want to see someone in the limited time they're here, so they cast a wide net and then book with whoever they can schedule first.  As a NYC boy myself, I can tell you that we're not all assholes, and I'm sorry your experience here so far has been less than ideal.

I deal with both NYC and DC/VA. NYC men are lovely and I RARELY have any problems. I also agree with DC/VA as they are a tougher crowd. BIG on cancellations. Clients anywhere have a option A B and C. If you take too long or like others said make it sound business like, respond with attitude, etc etc then perhaps you should reevaluate what YOU are doing and how YOU are handling your business. In a months time I may get 2 cancellations out of NYC. So NYC men are not the problem honey, member you are in the most competitive city in the US, so step up your game and your not going to do it bitching on TER about the clients you want to pay YOUR bills.

for the first time in about 4 weeks... I know that cancellations are very likely but thankfully, when I have
toured, usually someone comes in that persons place generally pretty quickly.

I do agree that not having current reviews can cause an issue. Most gents like to make sure you are
current and still active.

Most gents do have manners but sometimes things arise..Sadly, it's all part of our business.

JMHO

PS Dc is always a winner place for me and hoping NYC will be a winner too!

My experience has been overall exceptional with NY gentlemen! My first tour I arrived with my rates about 1/3 higher than home. I learned quickly that this wasn't going to work, so I set them to my home town rates as an introductory special. I had only reviews from Chicago and felt it was fair for a city on the other end of the country to want me to show who I was and if I was a professional person. I must say that not all West Coast guys are kind and responsive, and I have worked in San Francisco, even recently and not had all kind clients. There is definitely a difference in coastal culture. I appreciate the old fashion but fresh manners that East Coast men display.

I am so glad that you are enjoying, however it's very clear to me that most NY men work long days and happy to learn that I too put at least 20 hours a week into my back office work. I suggest taking some new photos with a reputable photographer such as Aldo Antonio, sprucing up your advertising, and doing esteem able acts to bring in energy of quality people to spend time working with. When you get bookings spoil them with ambiance, sultry clothing, smile from your heart, if you genuinely LOVE providing this will come through soon.

Maybe if you change your style from sensual interlude to erotic passion, get new pictures that actually look like you now and drop your rate, you'll have better results.

In fact I've found NYC gents to be the most reliable! I've only ever had a couple of cancellations, for reasons I believed to be legitimate, and I've never ever had a NCNS. I presume their busy schedules and home life mean they know the value of punctuality and keeping appointments once they're set. I'd agree that the DC area is worse for cancellations, but I've always been lucky in that I frequently have more last-minute requests from DC regulars, than I do cancellations.

I hope I haven't jinxed myself!
