Looks like 40% say do it!

and 40% say not to do it!

and 20% have no idea they were scalped and/or don't care either way.(I'm in this group...scalped,happy, and don't really know any better or worse for that matter)

OOps....almost forgot: one COCKscientious objector.

Analogy:

Maybe...start a new trend...half and half...
like a half pastrami/half corn beefed sandwich and one side gets whole grain mustard(only kidding)

As for me in the latter group...

Never knew what scalped me.
No loss of sensitivity,no cleansing concerns, and easy to pull out and discharge at football game urinals with very limited damage.(depends on how many brewskies I have drank)

One leftover reminder...
When I see a Doctor in scrubs with any type of tool in his hands...I ask for my Mommy.

Cheers!

Modified to include urinals at football games(to thnk of the poor fans in front)and to check spilling...oops.

Many years back, he was playing dial-a-date, where a sexy gal comes into the studio or calls in, and guys would call in to try to impress her and the Stern crowd to get a date with her.

On one show, it was a very, very sexy young lady, and Howard finally rounded up a few contestants who all said their schpiel.
Howard then summarised " well, there you have it, we have Nick, who is a contruction worker, Steve, who is a corporate recruiter or headhunter, and Itzak, who is a Mohel....I guess Itzak is sort of a head hunter too!"

I was rolling.

The first one is from the American Academy of Family Physicians

http://www.aafp.org/x1462.xml

IF you don't RTFA here is the summary:

Considerable controversy surrounds neonatal circumcision. Putative indications for neonatal circumcision have included preventing UTIs and their sequelae, preventing the contraction of STDs including HIV, and preventing penile cancer as well as other reasons for adult circumcision. Circumcision is not without risks. Bleeding, infection, and failure to remove enough foreskin occur in less than 1% of circumcisions. Evidence-based complications from circumcision include pain, bruising, and meatitis. More serious complications have also occurred. Although numerous studies have been conducted to evaluate these postulates, only a few used the quality of methodology necessary to consider the results as high level evidence.

And also an article from the American Academy of Pediatrics:
This is from the beginning:

Scientific studies show some medical benefits of circumcision. However, these benefits are not sufficient for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to recommend that all infant boys be circumcised. Parents may want their sons circumcised for religious, social and cultural reasons. Since circumcision is not essential to a childs health, parents should choose what is best for their child by looking at the benefits and risks.
