For letting me rant a couple of days ago and being supportive. I apologize for not responding back right of way. I ranted and then walk away for awhile, but I did read your response and I appreciate them. Thanks, you guys are the greatest.

personally speaking, i see this as a PMB of a rather unique nature. as in most PMBs, there is a certain fellowship among members that goes beyond the usual topics of common interest. in that light, i feel privileged that you chose to share your feelings here, especially about something that is so intimate to you - and important to me.

I'm sorry, I missed the post the other day. I agree with many of the sentiments expressed. Sleep well. Your son is a hero.

Just read your past thread and God speed to your son in not only a difficult "politics infused" situation that you describe but very treacherous war environment as well.

Hopefully, cooler heads will prevail and the powers that be will
cut through the political BS and see the actions of your son's unit as self defense in a time of war....
and to unequivocally give them the benefit of any doubt.

Irregardless of one's political views on if we should be there or not ...
The fact of the matter is that heroes like your son are
risking their lives to uphold American freedom and democracy.
Our great country has made mistakes along the way but in the end ..there is still no better country.
