Hey guys, i need to go on a shooting for work, is anyone knows a great photographer in NYC?

It's not clear whether this is for TER work or for some non-TER related work. If the former, there are frequent suggestions on Newbie and General. Many photographers schedule tours and rent local studio time. Maybe someone will be in NY in time for your shoot. (But there must be plenty of local talent.)
If non-TER, but involving modeling, there are ad malls like Model Mayhem where people in the industry list themselves: models, cosmetologists, photogs. ALWAYS check credentials and ask for credible references.
And if it's a professional shoot, check the contract for what is and is not provided and the times for delivery of the final product (same day, a week, a month) and stuff like that.

Well, I think that there are other places where model / portrait / glamor photographers advertise.
If you need some naked pics in a hurry, I'll bring my cell phone and a floodlamp! :-
