i thought you were going to say swiss cheese, not DR. browns
Although this needs to be "dressed up" with some good coarse brown mustard... along with a big juicy Kosher pickle, square knish, and a Dr. Browns black cherry soda.
Cheers!
But stay away from those skanky strip clubs, Bill! (LOL). Plus, for the same taste buds, tho not pastrami per se, Virgil's BBQ 44th btwn 6th and Bway is a winner.
I'm hopelessly addicted to pussy & titties in my face. Love getting on the hot subway smelling like a $25 hooker and always being able to get a seat by myself
Cherry soda? It has to be Dr Brown's cream soda or cel-ray
and Dr. Brown's does make a great black cherry soda.
Although the last time I had pastrami...I was at a neighborhood gin mill and washed it down with a few Amstels.
Cheers!
A beer with your pastrami. A shanda. Sure, Dr Brown's makes a mean cherry soda, and personally I hate the celery tonic (my father loves it...I guess I got my mother's genes on this one) but Dr Brown's cream soda is ambrosia with pastrami or corned beef.
Katz's is the best. Big MONSTER sandwiches on fresh rye w/ pickle and Dr. Browns. It just doesn't get much better. Yeah, I'm Smelly, and a bazillion other absurd, obtuse, weird, kinky, politically incorrect, and fucked up aliases you always wondered about.
i drink dr. browns black cherry with my pastrami
I think its closed it was on Queens Blvd across the street from the Court house. If u r looking for a good german deli the Homestead not far from there.
closed for years.
So my vote goes to the Mill Basin Deli on Avenue T in Brooklyn.
The only thing that makes a good kosher pastrami on club more genuine though, is a DR BROWN'S CEL-RAY soda!
i thought you were going to say swiss cheese, not DR. browns
2nd Avenue Deli!!!!!
I'm waiting for someone to recommend pastromi on white bread wtih mayo and a glass of milk.
Carnegie is the best
The pastrami sandwich there is so big I can't even open my mouth that wide to take a full bite! They got great chopped liver too.
2nd Avenue Deli blows the rest away...leanest Pastrami in the city and I've tried all the other top places
