Well said, Col. Hogan. The Sox will go down in five, perhaps six.  Then whichever Jabroni survives in the National League will go down, as well.

Yankees/Sox series are always great fun.  Here's rooting for the Yanks, my prediction is in 6 games.  I think those Yankee bats are starting to come alive.

GO YANKS!!!!!!!

Facing Roger in Boston will wake up the Sox bats. They're good for at least 6 runs off him.

Is that because he is in the "twilight of his career" or maybe a case of sour grapes?
I will say that I was not a big fan of Roger when he first signed on with the Yanks but he's won me over with his work ethic on the mound and his team play. He's also not too shabby for a 41 year old and his announced retirement after the season looks to be premature. He had a great performance in the Twin's series and his 95 MPH fastball has shown no sign of weakness in this stretch run. I believe his finest hours as a pitcher may unfortunately be his last ones over the next two series. It will be a real true swan song fot the rocket! We shall see my friend. Here's to a great series either way.
Cheers!

I hope he does as well.  His "Swan Song" will rock Boston to the point that for many years to come, they'll be talking about "The Curse of the Rocket".

It's not sour grapes. Clemens gave the Red Sox many great years (minus the last two...he wasn't in shape). Clemens has shut down the Sox a few times since he's left but I would be much more comfortable with the Sox facing Roger than either Wells or Pettit. The Sox can't beat Pettit. However the Sox lefties will tee off on Clemens.

Moose, you suck. I think we overpaid for you, considering we could have had Randy Johnson instead. We should ship your ass back to Baltimore.
