END OF MESSAGE

we alll know what happened in asia this past week and it is incomprehensible the amout of damage and destruction. our pres. is spending more on his inauguration parties then he is sending to help these people.
how about we skip our next visit to a provider and donate the money to the red cross. sorry girls but there ARE SOMETHINGS THAT ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN SEX....
hope you all have a peaceful and happy news years eve.
didn't mean to bring anyone down but this is something that needs our attention now and in the future.
thanks

Currently the US is donating $350MM to Asia for disaster relief.  I don't think the inaugural is costing quite that much, but I understand that Bush-bashing is too irresistable to some.

On a different note, there are also agencies besides the red cross to donate to.  I used to give them money, but as I learned of their their anti-semitic traits, I decided to give my money to agencies without that cross to bear.

Here is a broad swath of organizations one can donate to for the Asian disaster --> http://tinyurl.com/4hvfu

In addition, Bnai Brith has setup a disaster relief fund on http://bnaibrith.org/programs/dr/041227_tsunami.cfm

I personally saw a wonderful provider recently and donated money to the effort (via Bnai Brith).  One can help others, not be stingy with one's self, and do all this without moralizing to others.

All, have a happy new year,

Hoot.
