Has anyone procured any of the Generic viagra (I am being spammed to death with the adveritisements)?  I was wondering if it is considered safe and if it is legal.  It seems sort of soon that the original patent would be running out.

I take Viagra and asked my doctor about the generic stuff. He recommended against it, saying that there is no way to determine anything about purity, formula, etc.  I don't believe that my doc is a shill for Pfizer, but somehow I have doubts about his reasons for not using the generic stuff.  But that's my opinion only.  What you may want to do is get a prescription for Viagra and contact, on-line, a Canadian pharmacy for the real stuff.  My understanding is that the Canadian pricing for the real thing is close to the generic price.
