I'm gonna try to make this short and sweet as I'm not in the city at the moment and this is the only brief chance I've had to check mail.
Coffecan I certainly understand where your coming from but the owners of TER want this to be an open discussion that's enjoyed by both Hobbyist and Providers. They foster that by creating guidelines for both of us. I don't wish to be center of attention. I wish other ladies would lend their thoughts, because there are some very interesting ladies out here.
There may be some hobbyist who think the way you do, but there are many more who don't. Respect their right to utilize the board in their own way.
Prior to the blackout, I accidentally went to the Philadelphia Discussion Board at TER and was surprised to see that an agency was outing on their website and on TER that one of their girls had failed a drug test, though passed an HIV test, and was caught on camera shooting up. The graphic pictures were posted. Wow.
So, for Alexia, sex columnist to NY Hobbyists, do agencies regularly require HIV, STD, and drug testing for their providers?
One of the pluses of a mature independent provider is that she would seem to know how to take care of herself. Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!! (Gee, Alexia, you're our own Candace Bushnell.)
adcde
I would have thought that you'd be interested in the subject, since every single one of your reviews is about providers with the Julie's Agency in NY.
Dude,
No offense, but that was not my initial response to your post.
I wrote something which I thought was a well thought out response to your post to "Alexia TER NY Board Sexpert"!
All I know is, after I wrote it, I pressed "Post Msg" & immediately rec'd a return screen I had never seen before from TER. I thought I had been shut out of The Discussion Board.
Anyway, that response I wrote was lost forever; I could not find it. Not even saved as a draft.
Regardless, since you e-mailed me back thinking "abcde" was the response to your post?
Believe me, it wasn't -- However, it could have been.
I know I've been vocal in the past re: previous posts concerning Alexia; that she should have her own column on TER "from a providers point of view", etc.
I expressed my opinion that she's just another provider who happens to participate on TER's Discussion Board and I feel does a significant ammount of self promoting as well - (although I have not noticed much of that lately).
Even though many of her reviews are favorable and I have not seen her as she does not provide BBBJ -(since Captyve is familiar with my reviews of a few providers at Julie's. He knows I enjoy BBBJ)I still believe this website should be for hobbyists and providers should be seen & not heard from!
Yes, there I've said it-- the true chauvinist in me is now out of the bag!
However, I feel so much better now.
Therefore Captyve, I ask you - why didn't you just pose your question about testing, etc. to someone like Julie; who's opinion re: the matter of testing I'd be interested to hear as opposed to and Ind. in NYC. And that would be any Ind. or any provider....
I have no beef with Alexia and only wish she provided BBBJ - cause I'd be there!
Alexia, if anything has changed re: this matter, Please PM me, I'd enjoy meeting you!
Cheers!
Anyone who knows: Do the agencies--Julies, Belle De Jour--require regular HIV, STD and drug testing?
Personally, I would enjoy hearing more from the providers. I like to hear their view on things. Only my opinion of course.
I have no problem with Alexia promoting herself. I admire her ambition.
I do agree with coffecan on one thing though. I probably would have seen her allready if she did BBBJ. I respect her wishes and will try her one of these days.
To each his own.
Be well everyone.

... what's with the racist crap about Asian women providers, please? Maybe many of the agencies and parlors are rip-offs, but anyone with half a grain of sense in his head(s) can discern who is quality and who is not. I have had the fortune to be with dynamite Asian providers. So please knock off the Charlie Chan accents, etc. We're New Yorkers -- we know better. End of sermon! Thanks.
No one asked for votes, but I'll chime in anyway. I like hearing from both hobyists and providers on TER.
I'm also interested in this answer. Providers, agency heads, anyone who knows, please tell us what you know. Do agencies require tests? While were at it, how about independents? Do you get tested? I'd like to know.
I take very good care of myself. Regular check ups, no bare back service. I really can't answer for other agencies or independents on the subject of STD testing, so I won't even try.
Everyone: Please note that in a discussion of an important issue to all hobbyists, one--and only one---provider responded. No one from the agencies. This is the reason to allow everyone an opportunity to speak.
