Thanks to the lovely ladies putting this together! I appreciate the work you ladies do and am looking forward to attending!

I'm making the trip down from Montreal and I am so excited!  I really can't wait to meet everyone and to play in NYC.

first NYC MNG...I am very heartbroken and hope those gents who wanted to meet me this
trip and at the party will forgive me!!

For those that don't know, my 91 yr old mother (whom I am her caregiver, dr interpreter, etc.) took
a nasty fall yesterday. She hates her walker but this was an accident when she tripped over
another residents (she is in a retirement home) scooter tires.  Well she has been getting weaker and
weaker and falling more. This one was not pretty. Her right wrist is severely impacted with many  
fractures and a broken bone. She is intense pain and we have moved from tylenol with codeine to
percocet.  The orthopedic dr said today she needs surgery to put in a plate and that is temporarily
scheduled for tomorrow.  However medicare says its outpateint and hospital says inpatient. Plus we
have to make sure her heart is strong enough for the surgery.  Alot of waiting and we will see..
 
However I have had to cancel this trip and for many reasons I am bummed. Please everyone have a  
good time for me and hope to see you all soon!!
 
PS I could use some prayers as I am pretty much living with mom right now and honestly I am  
exhausted.  Her dementia is getting worse and arguing with me every step of the way. But she  
has taught me to be positive and to laugh. So I am trying to do that.
