I'm looking for someone who understands our business and can advise on tax matters.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Please send PM.
Thanks Rasha

An entertainment attorney might be good for structure or setting up an entity but if you need to have your tax work done well, find a good accountant and by all means, do NOT tell him your true calling and keep it all business.

The key is to make sure that your income is sufficient to support your lifestyle.  Do you bring home enough money to pay your own rent after taxes?

Condoms are supplies.  Telephone is telephone.  Rent is rent and you can deposit your income into a bank account and call it consulting services.   Compile your own list of expenses, do your own bookkeeping.

Do NOT trade for services.  You get what you pay for and most men don't think all that well when their egos or anything else, for that matter, is being stroked.

And if you haven't guessed it yet, I'm an accountant.

Do it right, like you would anything else.

I am both an accountant and attorney and agree 100% with the prior post.

... and when you're asked to show the receipts for those supplies in an audit it would show what?

5 GROSS CONDOMS, LUBE, TOYS -

Ya think that might raise some questions regarding the legality of your profession?

Play it smart ... don't list any supplies or you'll really be paying an attorney!
