I notice there are quite a few posts on this page from guys with either no reviews or under aliases and for several reasons, I have to say I don't understand why anyone, provider or hobbyist would respond.

First, this board is supposed to be for sharing information.  By definition, IMO that means if you post reviews you're sharing info but if you don't you are not.  And if you're not, again IMO you don't have a lot of standing to ask others to share their hard-earned info with you.

Second, you may have all the references in the world, but if you don't have a review on here, how does anyone know you're for real?  A review or two lets people know that you're most likely a genuine person at the outset, even before you talk to them, and can provide your references.  .

And if the reason you don't have reviews is you're new here, then my advice is do what you must to have a provider experience and post a review here.  That will address the issues I noted above.

Dunno, I've been around her off and on for some years now and this is something I learned early on that helped me greatly and it seems like it no longer applies and I think that's unfortunate and I hope it changes.  JMHO

If an individual has a history of contributions to the community and is not using an alias I am more than happy to help in any way.  But no reviews....sorry.

Sometimes it is difficult to determine if someone is a newbie in need of a little guidance. Would sure be great if TER could include years of membership next to the little envelope that appears with a post.
