What are the popular places to tour in LI? My friend Brenda Boobies visits Melville area, but I've also heard Westbury is popular.....Whats your input/suggestions? I've never been to LI before.....thanks!

It has nothing to do with local providers protecting territory. It has to do with LE, and the LI clientele. Neither of which is desirable for touring providers.

The providers themselves are safety conscious and the right locations are chosen.

Of course LI can be more risky then NYC, but ANYTIME you are in a suburb there is an added element of risk as opposed to a big city.

Although there may only be one or two of you left.

And while I don't disagree that there is a risk, LE normally looks for the low hanging fruit. The sloppy providers and the newbies are easier targets. So are the high profile, high volume locals.
The old timers were nailed with more frequency 4 or 5 years ago.
I would say that LI is no more of a risk then an Atlanta, Chicago, or Massachusetts suburb.  

BTW, the Counties don't have tons of money to invest in prostitution busts these days. That is another thing that went out the window. Funding. This is not 2004.

Long Islanders are certainly not rednecks!!! There are many Italians and Jews here, but they are educated and affluent.(What's wrong with that?). Nassau County is one of the richest counties in the United States. Visit some of the towns here, and your jaw will drop at the sight of some of these exclusive areas. I can understand the LE argument because it is very Hot here right now. However, the clientele has nothing to do with it! It's also not as exciting as Manhattan, but a lot of girls like the quieter experience. Again, the clientele has nothing to do with it unless you have a problem with Italians or Jews?

The problem with LI is not the gentlemen, but the Suffolk and Nassau LE.
They read the boards and Eros ads, they single out ladies they will target that specific day/night and they will pursue until they can pass their screening.
They even have REPUTABLE references from people you guys see all the time ---- so, is all TRUE.
If you do a search on the LI favorite ladies of not too long ago, they are all gone ---- why? Because they got caught, got scared and "retired", or changed their names and now are working elsewhere.
I used to tour LI few years back and the cops CALLED me, to say stay away or they would have to get me. I was not even there, I was in my home, away from NY State, getting ready to fly to NY the next morning.
Got a late night call, they gave me their full names & badges numbers and told me to google their phone number on my computer if I didn't believe them. I did, and it was their PD number.
They joked with me on the phone, saying they called me because they loved my reviews and hated to take me down. They said they don't want us, providers, there and it was a friendly warning because they did follow me on the internet.
I asked my NY lawyer to check the names, badges and phone number and he confirmed. And my lawyer was truly surprised that they called to give me a warning and he told me it was better for me to cross out LI from my touring places.
After that incident, I canceled my trip and never went to LI again! I always tell ladies to be super careful, because they have tons of taxpayer money to have a bunch of guys sitting behind a computer to pick the girls, "the catch of the day" like one of the cops said to me over the phone.
LI is a great, profitable place to work from and I surely miss all my LI clients, but, I decided to stay away. Is good money but not worth the risk to me personally. I see many of my LI clients in Manhattan, when I'm there. They know about how their PD is and they come to other boroughs to see escorts. They avoid hobbying at 'home'.
Also, the LI "whore wars" are famous (check other NY board for old posts about it). Yes, there are some people who dominates LI escort scene and they don't like new girls on their turf. Thats nothing new, I too got nasty and threatening mails when I first toured LI. They stopped once they saw I was not going to run and was going to set shop.
But LE? Like they told mem is "just a matter of time" when they are going to catch you. And they will.
If ladies are making enough in other places, I strongly advise to stay out of LI. If they decide to go, them make sure to screen like crazy and have a local criminal lawyer number handy, just in case.
I really cringe in despair when all these guys keep asking the new girls "come to LI", because is like asking them to fall into a trap.
There are some cities and towns around the US where nobody tours, because of heavy LE presence.
Unfortunately, LI is one of these places.

I forgot to mention that LE shut down twp of the biggest agencies based in LI. NY Jewels agency was busted in a big way not that long ago, and shut down. Madam Alyssa of NY Jewels prided herself on the most stringent screening in the northeast. It did her no good on LI. LE targeted her, busted her and shut her agency down.

Similarly, well known Long Island based agency An Affair to Remember was busted, shut down, and closed for good by LE. LI remains a horribly risky place to hobby, and an even riskier place to be a provider. Throw in the clientele and you have a perfect storm nightmare.

I usually end up seeing my LI gents either in the city or visiting them for 2 -4 hour dates on their turf, but under no conditions will i tour there.

Limited number of places where one can host, too much time on hands of LE and lets not forget about a dozen bodies discovered this year in LI.

When I first joined TER back in 2004, this board was dominated by Long Island posts and hobbyists, and that dominance influenced many providers to tour there back then.  This has lessened over time, and the one LI provider I know now only parties in the Big City.  As a hobbyist from the burbs west of the Hudson, I know that LE here has the time, funds, and political motivation to keep their presence noticed.  Add to that the fact that home-grown agencies here protect their turf just as the do on the Island, and try to drive away the indies that would visit and compete...all the more reason to party in the City...

Few months ago, a well known, well liked, well reviewed lady working solely from LI got busted after accepting solid references from an agency. The guy visiting her was LE.
She's now semi-retired and only seeing her longtime regulars.
I agree 1000% with Koreanna (whoever you are, you are well informed).

Not go there. Just screen the same way you would anywhere. U r being a bit ridiculous if you ask me. And don't forget that so many NYC hobbyists live in LI.
LI is an affluent suburb and I for one have never had a problem there.

But if you get references from legit providers and screen properly, your are assuming the same risks there than anywhere. And yes B.D.J is  based out of Florida but have a HUGE client base in LI and have for years.

Your right  anyone even cops can give references ,But references with out the providers website ,is not good enough for me  most well known providers  have websites,And cops dont ,I dont bother with recent reviews ,Must have reviews from 2 to 3 yrs prior .,I use to live in long island and have recently settled  back here once again ,
Theres such a BIG difference bewteen now and 4 yrs ago,more LE calling  ,hobbyist trying to get a discount or No/shows,  I find long island to have its ups and downs  but then again I travel alot out of long island .

I'm a little surprised at what I'm hearing here. Without being specific if you check the agency website you will see they have 3 girls on schedule and it is Sunday. They've expanded the schedule to include weekends. Tuesday they have 6 girls on schedule. At least this agency is sending more girls than ever.
When I speak to the girls most of them prefer LI. I'm not disputing anyone else's experiences but it not what I have experienced.
