Wondering why the guys on backpage have such an aversion to be screened?  Perhaps I am just naive but are there that many women not screening or just that may first-timers?   Would love some input  from providers and hobbyists alike.

So many of the providers on BP are "in the game" short term they make lots of mistakes with health, personal safety and screening. So I'm not at all surprised that some people are averse to the screening process.

Thanks.  I have been doing this for less than a year and sometimes I do get some v. good guys who are respectable and nice but 60% of the calls are guys calling just to know my rate - no hello, no introduction..I wonder if their mothers taught them manners.

I've never seen an escort off a BP ad, but I have seen plenty of bodyrub girls off there.

Screening is very much a TER thing.  I don't hear about this elsewhere.  You can't use TER as a standard for everything else out there, sadly.

Established providers in the NY area tell me that when they've advertised there, most of the responses are immature cheapskates who don't want to be screened. Occasionally they will get a response from a real gem but they find it is too much trouble to read through the crap. Many providers will try backpage once and them avoid it like the plague after that.

I understand that TER was built for hobbyists and backpage is a site that any Tom, Dick, Harry or John is going to visit for either a vicarious thrill to test the waters or because they find it more intuitive than most. ( real feedback from guys I have seen)

If it really was of no value, I wouldn't waste my time.  However, I have gotten some of my better clients from there who are great guys.  Unfortunately the ratio of time wasters to to great clients is a little skewed.

It is great to have sites like TER because I am quickly learning that even sites like EROS will give you your share of time wasters.  At the end of the day, its not a question of where you post so much as human nature.

Everyone's feedback is extremely valuable and someone new to TER I am really enjoying it.

But you have to wade through piles of shit to find something that is usable.

Bottom line?  If it seems too good to be true, it is.

I am reputable, well reviewed and have been around.  I get a majority of my clients thru Eros and Backpage.  I screen and there are no exceptions.  If they wish to see me - there is a process.  It is all perception.  Of course, there are girls that fly by night but there are many girls who use both BP and Eros for their marketing resources.  If it aint broken I do not need to fix it.  Just my two cents.  There are fakes on Eros so .....WTF.
