When I was working I asked the same question to my clients and their response was, because they can.
Getting laid, getting pussy from a civilian sometimes takes a lot of work. So pay to play does away with all the work and possible frustration.
No need for anyone to think they are weird, it's an equitable situation and we hope everyone walks away satisfied.

I am way too busy flying experimental aircraft and winning defense contracts from the Pentagon. I have no time for all that talking and foreplay that is necessary for civilian "hookups". Not to mention any free time I do have is spent locked up in the dark on the two top floors of the DoubleTree on 51st and Lexington.

It's the modern world..no parnets to arrange marriages, carefully picking a woman who was raised to please an accomplished man.  Everything is fast paced, endless to do lists, and little time for pleasure; so anytime you do have to unwind, it should be satisfying.  This is an honest way for both parties to get their needs met and not have to go through the complications that scoping girls at bars creates.  Plus, I think those of us who do this type of work are just generally more in tune with what a man wants and know how to give it...the money is part of it, but really it takes more than that to be happy doing this..I often think many girls dream of doing what I get to do, but are afraid or don't have the confidence.  In the end, for some people, this is just more real and makes more sense.

Shady..lol.  Yes, definitely true.  We are an underground society, but that's a part of the fun -. Tried selling real estate in ny for awhile..no insult to the field..very challenging job with many amazing people who have accomplishd alot, but I personally encountered a fair amount of shadiness there too.  lol.  I guess in the end, its all about how you do what you do.  Or maybe   we are all just a bunch of lust crazed sensualists and that's all there is to it.  lol

Random hook ups can be hard to deal with.  I had a few back in my day and they usually ended up bad.  Either the girl was expecting more and wanted a relationship or the sex was not good, whatever....Sometimes it is just easier to call up the girl you desire and go see her.  Here is an actual situation that applies.  I went out to Vegas this past weekend.  Well, I meet this really cute blonde chick at one of the upscale hotel bars.  No she was not a casino girl.  She was there with a bunch of people from Michigan for a business conference.  They were all wearing the colors of their college they went too and their college was playing at the time...  Any way things get good and after an hour or so i pull her away from her friends and we go to the hotel next door for some dancing.  Needless to say she was a little drunk and the gropping and kissing is starting while on the dance floor.  Well, her roomate comes looking for her and unfortunately finds us...It is now three of us but I am still in there good (at least I think) and the hugging and stuff is still going on.  Well her friend throws a fit and starts with the "How could you do this, i am not going to stand here and let you get drunk and do this".  Well we are in Vegas, that is exactly what peple come to Vegas for.  Well she storms out of the casino with the woman I am with chasing her saying "wait,wait".  I am able to stop her and the kissing and hugging starts again right there on the strip (albeit, we went to a nice secluded spot).  Well her girlfriend is standing right behind us yelling at her to come upstairs.  They get into a large argument right there on the strip...after about 5 minutes of watching this I say wait a minute and leave and go play some poker.  When I first met I thought I was in there and after an hour or two is when the kissing and gropping began.  We anyawy I ended up with a hard dick and no pussy.  And I was going to call a provide that evening but after meeting her at the sports bar with her friends I thoufght my odds were above 50%.  Well they were not.  And that in a nut shell is why I hobby.

When I was young and in my 20's. there was always a shot at scoring at the clubs.  Once you hit your 40's, you are out of place, and it is no longer viable most of the time.  As a hobbyist, though, anything is possible, and it's at your convenience.  The Golden Rule applies...he who has the gold makes the rules.  And can get laid when he wants, with a wide selection of ladies who are more than willing.
