Some folks care about what happens to these ladies and can play by whatever rules they choose to ensure adequate safety.  If the screening is too invasive for you, move on.

You say there are hundreds of arrests each year.  On TER there are more than 1,600 reviews for the year 2008.  And that's just the "encounters" for which people wrote reviews. If there were 150 arrests of  johns/clients during 2008, that would represent such an infinitesimal percentage of all the illicit sexual encounters in NYC, I'll take those odds any day.  Furthermore, most of the arrests are for guys trying to pick up streetwalkers.  Hence, the reference to pimps and oozing, pussy, sores.  

I think it's pretty safe to say if you exercise reasonable caution, you're not gonna get popped.  Hobby away and spread your seed.

a very enlightening conversation...i've always wondered if agencies delete our contact info from their data bases-once we are verified ? that would seem reasonble,and in case another agency gets busted- there wouldn't be data stored for le to obtain.

I am not part of the collective "we" used by summertime. I think there are alot of us that could not care less about elliot although there are elements that could effect some...hence the "we" may apply to others.
I don't have a high profile position that would be newsworthy and can't conceive of how having my name on someones list would be prosecutable or worth 2 minutes of manpower.
My experience is that Atlantic is a very good agency, Lisa is super professional, and I had a really great time with the couple women Ive seen from there.
