Hi all...I probably post here once every 6 months (if that much) and, recently, since I've been out of work, I've kind of been out of the hobby. However, I do enjoy reading the reviews, as it helps me decide on limits and tipping and, really, what to expect for the money I spend and place I go. However, I have noticed that at times, there are insanely varied reviews. In fact, I just read one where one girl got an 8 on looks AND performance from one person and a 2 on BOTH from another. Also, these reviews were posted in the same month. Now, I completely understand about YMMV, and the difference in a "connection" with a provider (I've had "1" experience with a "9" and a "9" experience with a "6"), but how can BOTH numbers be so different...unless one is a shill OR a REALLY unhappy customer for some reason or another? Sorry this is kinda long, but any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think you have to rate reviews like they do in the olympics.  Toss out the highest and lowest and then those will be your real averages.

I often find friends or providers themselves writing it and you know those can't be trusted.  If someone gives a person a 9 or a 10 and that's their ONLY review...toss it or at least wait till they have written more to prove that they are non-bias.

I have the same problem with the reviews. This is especially true with appearance. It is really not possible for someone to rate a girl a 8 or 9 and another to say 3 or 4 which is exactly what I just saw today in one of the most recent reviews in NY. I think there are a lot of fake reviews here. A lot of guys are probably just trying to get access for free and doing fake ones. Who to believe?

i usually look for consistency in the reviews. if a provider has a lot of 8s and 9s, she usually is a keeper. also i check previous posts by the reviewer. for an example, one guy gave a girl a 4 for appearance when she received like 10 8s. i checked his prior reviews and he rarely gave anything above a 7 in appearance.
