Just wondering about the relative safety of hotel incalls as opposed to private apartments, AMPs or "houses". A house girl I saw a few times mentioned she's going independent and will be working out of a hotel. I want to continue seeing her, but Im concerned about the logistics. Really don't want to have to provide ID to a hotel clerk, don't want a record of me being there or even worse be stuck waiting for her in the lobby looking suspiciously awkward while she is busy in the room or has to come down to fetch me. What do you guys think...am I overthinking this and should trust she picked a not too nosy but not sleazy place or just pass on the whole thing, see if she will agree to an outcall?

I just hotels for all of my incalls and none of them post the problems u mentioned.  If she is using an upscale hotel there is usually a bar u can use in the even that u r early. Ask her to make sure the elevator doesn't require a hotel key.

many hotels have their own security/detectives.  I've run into them in the hallways a few times.  

Also, there are cameras everywhere so just relax. And why would a hotel clerk ask you for ID?  Do you look like a vagrant? Hint: dress appropriately especially in better hotels.

Always have a reason why you're there if asked. Stuttering will not be helpful. LOL

This is NY.  Forget about making an appointment for a moment.  Walk into a major hotel lobby and look around. Ask an innocent Q of a doorman or bell-hop. "Where's the coffee shop?" "Why? None of your business. I mean, BECAUSE I'M SUPPOSED TO MEET A BUSINESS ASSOCIATE IN THE COFFEE SHOP AT THE SHERATON." Even better, "BECAUSE I WANT A CUP OF COFFEE, OK? ... No coffee shop? Ooops. I'm in the wrong hotel. Sorry."  

Look at all the people using cell phones in the lobby. Did you ever imagine that there would be so many people at that hotel calling to get the room numbers of their hostesses? And not just men. Women and children, too!  

There are cameras everywhere, even in the elevators. Act normal, I mean, just be normal, because it is perfectly normal to visit friends, relatives, business associates and others at a hotel.  

The major problem would be needing a key card to access the elevator to guest room floors; she might have to come down and meet you in the lobby, at the bar, or whatever. If no key card, ask your hostess for some guidance ahead of time about elevator location. "If you enter from the 3rd Ave entrance, the elevators are to the left."  

Check out a few hotels ahead of time to get comfortable. You're just one guy in a big crowd.

No, I dress nicely but Im quite awkward.

If you're awkward in NYC then you'll blend right in.

I use hotels quiet regularly.  
I do not recommend hanging out in the lobby waiting.

I tell the guy. Text or call me when you park then i will give you rxact directions as to where the elevator is and my room etc.  
I make sure to work in a busy hotel, the one i use has a parking garage that if you park on certain level you can come right out to the 2nd floor and avoid the lobby.

I try to stay out of sight as much as possible when staying. Unless i grab a bite to eat.

Just be normal acting paronoid does draw attention  and i recommend not hanging out in the lobby wait til shes ready get directions to elevator and room and go...
