I am making a trip up to NYC and its been years..... I need a place that has a balcony( if possible)  and has a bar/dining located in or nearby. I need everyones 2 cents on locations.. make sure it is not a place i have to ring people in or have to meet in lobby. It must have access for them to get in elevator or hotel without key.  

Foodie here too- looking for A++ places to dine e. I sincerely need any that you might have about NYC
