I once saw Andrew Zimmernm eat it on his show Bizzare Foods, and he explained that it's not that it's really dangerous, it's just that if it's not prepared properly - that's when it can be deadly. And it's a very tricky thing to prepare fugu properly.

I highly suggest the line from Chicago to Seattle. The scenery is stunning.  

1. Learn Spanish. Not just talking about doing it, but actually doing it
2. After I learn Spanish, going to South America for an ayahuasca ceremony  
3. A year of solitude and study in a yurt somewhere rural
4. Learn to hunt  
5. Own property and build on it, starting a small sustainable community
