The post you cited is very interesting. Especially as it coincides with two new strong reviews in the 9's in February, at least one of which was from a reputable reviewer. How does one reconcile that with the admitted substitution by Sonya Olsen and the multiple bros taken for a ride already (hence the multiple mediocre reviews)? I do not find the new AF's explanations for the suspect reviewers, SO story, and possible "ring" compelling either. She argues that reviews by those like "jamadison" are real and that the shadowy American female was not a madam/ handler but an appointment screener. She now says that SO is not her friend but was just supposed to pick up some business for her profile.
However, still concerning, BCing says that around the time of her post (mid-Feb), this AF began contacting all the reviewers who gave mediocre reviews to offer freebies in return for, ahem, fresh takes on their experiences (ie, rewriting their reviews). People are directed to a location where the SO encounters took place, which is different from where the original AF hosted incall.
My conclusions:
1. Some provider who is more like the original AF than SO is back to providing service which has merited higher scores.
2. There is still behavior suspicious for an organized agency/ring going on.
Get your nut on at your own risk. Be careful what review deals you strike.
Chances are, if you show up at the midtown location you are taking on more risk than others.
Only time will tell if the back story is true.

I've never had fake reviews and all my 10/10s are given by some reputable guys in this hobby. The reviewers who do not have a bunch of the reviews under their profile - doesn't mean they are fake or I just made somebody to write me a fake.
TER knows better if the reviewer is real or not and if the reviewer's account was created in 2014 or a few years ago.
I read this thread carefully only today and
1-I've never worked for an agency, I am totally independent and no other dudes are involve in my business.
2-Sonya Olsen is not my friend, we met though hobby when I just started, and when I had a family emergency (I was not sick and I had to go out of the country) I just asked her if she wants to take some of my "bread and butter", she agreed and I didn't think it will cause me that much.
3-the reviewers like jamadison, nyxxxwish, markymark, and etc were here for a while, and they did hobby at the time I was virgin and was under 21, so no need for you to say the reviews are fake, there are real people under their profiles who actually saw a few reputable girls, have plenty reviews and good reputation.
4-verification: every girl chooses her own way how to verify her potential "boyfriend", and it's non of your business if a provider asked a million questions before the date or not, your business ONLY to decide whether you want to come or not
