Given the economic climate, I wonder how many people really would attend a Q4 mixer and how "effective" this would be for the ladies.

 TBM: I understand your situation. Thanks for the "Heads Up." I haven't been to a M&G since Miki passed away. She and Hyabby put together some great ones. I was on sabbatical during yours, but I'm sure they were kick-ass. The first of the year sounds fine. Looking forward to seeing some old faces, and of course,some new ones. Keep us posted!

Early 09 sounds very appropriate as the buzz form all this financial news will have worn off and many people will have streamlined their finances by then to accomodate the hobby. From now till end of year, sounds as if many would be cautious about any spending with the run up to Xmas season. Just my thoughts.

09 will be a new year with a freash outlook on things, with 08 behind us like a bad dream.

From what you had said about the last mixer there were a lot of no call no shows. If that was the case a while ago, it might be worse today. I appreciate your hard work for our fun, but I know you should not take a monetary hit. If times do get even worse we call all use some fun. Thanks again for all you did

I agree with the thoughts expressed above, with the gloom on the horizon it is probably best to wait until the New Year.

Hope your work doesn't take ALL of your play time

TBM...I'm going to email you...I'm thinking about sponsoring this one maybe...and yes I read all the posts and I'm well aware of the economy etc.  Maybe it'll just be a Xmas party.  We'll see...I'll let every one know after I talk to TBM.

After being injured during training, instead of going overseas like originally scheduled I'll be coming home to central NJ in early Nov to start physical therapy.

Keep me informed TBM about any/all Mixers, M&G's, etc that are coming up and I'll try to attend.
