Prostitutes were told they would be audited by a notice addressed to: 'Landlords and window prostitutes in Amsterdam', in the city's main newspaper. The country legalized the practice a decade ago and authorities are now looking to tax the £500million ‘service sector’. One worker, Samantha, pointed to a possible pitfall: ‘Not many customers ask for a receipt”.
