I just saw an ad where the Provider asks to meet before the date at a local coffee shop. The client brings his cash in an envelope placed inside his favorite book. The Provider will then use a light and marker pen to authenticate the bills. Does anyone know of instances where a Provider has received counterfeit money to pay for her services?

Yes, it happens. Search General for "Counterfeit" (and some misspellings and synonyms).

Providers have been given envelopes of blank paper, Monopoly money, and even couterfeit currency (oops - typo - couterfeit. That's why you sometimes have search on variant / typo terms, too).  Some deal with it in the room rather than in public.

A girl I met a few years ago showed me the counterfeit money that a guy had left her the day before. She was laughing but it was pissed off laughing. She showed it to me as a way of apologizing for needing to look at my envelope before we started. Her trust was forever broken with clients and she said she would be checking every time. It was the second time we met, and she did do it the next time too.

A different provider once told me that she caught a guy trying to do this bc he seemed shifty and kept looking at the envelope after he gave it to her. Her Spidey senses told her to check the envelope and it was counterfeit. The guy ran out of the room.

The provider you are calling out who wants to meet at a coffee shop and verify is begging to be arrested though. Or mugged. Why would you ever do that at a public place?

if the ink comes off on paper it is real.  usually old bills get confused for being fakes with the marker. you can feel the bill and wipe it on paper.  proves its real. the markers dont always work with old bills. not to hard to tell when you wipe it.

I know a couple of ladies who have gotten the shaft in this way. It does happen.

Gee, talk about calling attention to yourself. Sitting in a public cafe with a pile of money checking each bill. Not too bright.

I have had this happen in the past but I noticed right away and couldn’t believe he would try to pull some ish like that. Long story short I kicked him out and never seen him again. I also blacklisted him.
