Booked w a traveling provider whom I have seen before several times.  I have a tough time getting away from the wife so my excuses and time is limited to play.  Had an opportunity today to be free from 6am through noon so I booked a 9:30a appt 2 weeks ago and confirmed this past weekend and confirmed yesterday.  Left the house at 5:30 went to a diner near the incall for a hearty breakfast.  Lingered over coffee and eggs, then went to a 7-11 for a bottle of water and chewing gum to freshen the breath and boom, I get a text at 8:30a saying she isn't feeling well and will have to cancel.  I know stuff happens, but Damn!  Today was my only day to play in the past month!  So now (almost 9am) I gotta kill time til noon to preserve my excuse.  Too late to call any of my other "friends" as they need 24 hr notice.  This sucks.  (And not in a good way).

It’s tough to make arrangements on Long Island. The few regulars that were around prior to Covid have either retired or are still on Hiatus. I got lucky and found someone touring over the summer, but every other time I have had to go into the city. It’s a shame.

Pay TER dues for what?  PMs?  Practically no one on here in my area anyway.  I review often enough to get full membership once in awhile.  I used to pay for TER membership back when it was worth something.  Now?  Don't make me laff.
