Back in '77.  Smart move, too, I eventually got the seat for $15.  Back then, in high school, that savings was significant - 5 albums, a half oz. of good weed...

I think I'll pass on $44K to see Barbra.  From what you're saying, even tix in Blue Heaven are going for $2K.  I could get season tickets to see every Giant game this year for less...in the lower tier.

Just like the provider/hobbyist "business" it is all in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn't go if you gave me the tickets for free, but I guess as the saying goes "different strokes for different folks".
