You seem to have a very narrow definition of racist.  So if a white guy doesn't hire someone cause they are black, that's not racist unless the white guy also beats up the black guy?

You don't have to lynch black people to be racist.  You just have to believe that some people are better or worse than others, simply because of their race.

Saying, "oh, that's not really racism." is the attitude that has keeps racism alive and accepted to the point that as recently as this year a black couple wasn't allowed to be married in a white church.  Small jokes here and there and not innocent.  They reflect and encourage an ideology that is better off left to die.

As per the initial point, this is not the forum for it.  If you want to make jokes about the president than do it on the politics forum or the humor forum.

There is nothing wrong with making jokes about or criticizing the president.  he has done a lot that is worthy of such.  But calling him a spade is not a joke.  It's a racist comment.

And saying "no pun intended" does not negate the comment.  Clearly, it was intended.

I stand by my point.  You can be sarcastic all you like.  It would be very easy to complain about the traffic caused by the presidents visit without turning it into an anti-Obama political message.  But the OP very specifically did just that.  Opinions are like assholes.  Everyone's got one.  That's fine.  But only a douchebag insists on spouting their opinion whether others are interested or not.

This site has a board for people who want to argue about politics.  I don't go there because I don't care to see people talking shit about the president or the other candidates.  There are plenty of places where I can find that shit.  I come here to talk about the hobby and things related to such.

If the OP wants to bitch about the president, he's absolutely welcome to do so, but this is not the place for it.

My expressed opinions were all about what is appropriate for this board, and i don't believe that I endorsed any party or candidate.  

As for Chick-Fil-A, I've never been there.  I don't know if it's possible to boycott someplace you haven't been.  What's the difference between that and just not going?

I do have an opinion on the topic, but this isn't the board for that.
