Firstly I'm not racist, I will see anybody who a) passes screening and b) I feel comfortable with.
Secondly, my mother never told me much, raised mostly by my yeshiva and our cleaning woman- you could call me a problem child, as I was always very provocative (and very sexual) since a young age.
I was raised differently from the usual orthodox or hasidic, since my mother and father were reformed. They taught us the language and religion, though we didn't follow many of the rules. We didn't eat kosher, we didn't serve shabbat, we didn't even say a blessing before eating something or drinking grape juice. We just live, I guess.
I'm not your average Jew, nor am I your average middle eastern. Jordan is a middle eastern country and most of them are light in skin color.
Also of Latinos appear African and a lot of Africans can appear white (I've seen it)
