I'd say he was one of the most dynamic leaders of the late 20th century.  Though I often did not agree with his principals, he had principals and lived his life by them.  He will be missed.

He was a solid dude.  I have always admired people who remain true to their beliefs.  The Pope was full of love and forgiveness.  Forgiveness is something we all need to give and receive. God rest his soul.
