I hold my incalls in hotels because of privacy reasons. I certainly don't want strangers coming to my place and nosy neighbors talking.
A hobbyst told me a few weeks ago he didn't like hotels rooms because they were "unsanitary", even though I host from 3 or 4 stars hotels. He claimed "because of bodily fluids" which doesn't make sense since my I get a very low volume appt for incalls. I don't use my place so I can't take last min guys plus the extra fee.

My question is, do you really care where she hosts?

Somewhere anonymous.  While I have gone to residences several times, including one provider who was a realtor and using a vacant home as an incall.  I always feel exposed in a residence.  People notice new cars and new people in their block (at least on Long Island).  In hotels or motels, it is kind of expected that the people are transient.  People come and they go and unless a really astute desk clerk is watching the lobby for people they have seen before, its kind of a given that you are anonymous.

...as long as it is clean and tidy.

hobbyist is an idiot. Yes, it would be good that the room is clean, but if safety and discretion are two of the main components of this hobby world, then hotels are the best for incalls and outcalls...Period!

Why take the risk of bringing a total stranger into your home? It doesn't matter how many times you have seen each other or how many years. There is no compromise when it comes to your safety and discretion. No provider or hobbyist is worth that risk.

If that hobbyist is so concerned about "bodily fluids", then tell him to bring his own disinfectant, bedspread and linens. He must must always wear gloves, not kiss on the lips, not DATY, not shake hands etc... because of bodily fluids.

Sorry for the short rant, but it is nit picky guys like that who make hobbyists look stupid.

I have my private incall in a brownstone with just a handful of apartments.
Quiet building, no doorman, no nosey neighbors. Actually, in the city nobody cares about what is going on with other people living next door. Nobody cares, trust me.
My building has an ecletic mix of people, so having guests at my apartment doesn't look out of place.
All my clients like my 'love nest' and they respect my privacy the same way I respect theirs. I have lots of repeats because is so discreet for them.
As long you screen them well, you will have no issues hosting from your own place.
Now, if you live outside Manhattan, in another borough or in the suburbs, then is better to host from hotels because a private residence will be in the mix with families and they will be nosey, trying to guess why the single girl living nearby has so many visitors.
