Here are the facts:
- booked an incall with a well reviewed, established provider for last week.
- provider required a deposit to secure her incall. I happily paid as I trusted her reviews, and we had great email correspondence.
- day before our appt, she tells me she is double booked and asks to reschedule for this week. I'm easy going and a nice guy so I agree.
- have yet to hear from her about our reschedule. It's now been a week since I've heard from her, while I've sent 2 nice emails to her earlier this week trying to reschedule.
- I know she's alive and well and online because she has posted a new ad on the boards in just the last day.

SO, did I just get snookered? How long do I wait before I post a negative review? Can I post a bad review based on this? It's the last thing I want to do, but I'm beginning to feel like I've been robbed...

You can PM the mod to see what form of warning would be permitted on this board.  Personally, I'd try one more time before assuming she snookered you and should be outed.

That's really lame of her and unprofessional if she did that.

You can always write a review about not seeing her and getting taken for the deposit.  I think I've seen more than a few reviews of sessions that were supposed to happen but didn't.

But on the other hand, she probably has your personal info if you did it via Paypal or something that required a wire service (which pretty much all online payments do), so you have to consider the possibility that if you do complain about things with her publicly, she will get vengeful and retaliate.  Which sucks.

My advice?  Contact her again and ask her for your deposit back.  And avoid seeing her if she offers to give you a discount.  There are so many fish in the sea.

The reason girls double-book is so they don't lose money on a no-show.  Sending a deposit is to prevent exactly that.  The second she said she had double-booked you were screwed.  It's like the Seinfeld episode with the car reservation.

NEVER EVER send someone a deposit.  There are too many phenomenal options out there that don't require such.

Almost every time I trusted a girl with a deposit I have regretted it.  Even with girls I had seen numerous times in the past.

You definitely have been robbed.  Welcome to the club.

Jeez, there is no excuse for her taking a deposit and rescheduling for a double booking.  If she had to cancel, she should have explained where and when you'll get your deposit back in the same email.

Similar problem. Montreal visiting provider I had seen before who had just moved here under the radar. Zero response post deposit. Just plain theft. Yes, I feel like an idiot. I should have known better. But she was so convincing. Dumb dumb dumb. Live and learn.

This only makes people that much more suspicious of the honest people out there. I accept deposits and understand the client is taking a risk by sending one. Then again, I don't double book. =P

My suggestion, I would email her and tell her you are going to tell everyone what she did, that she took your money and you plan on posting the information on every board you can find....this will give her the opportunity to make amends, if she doesn't, then follow through and do it.

What was the point of a deposit and just double book..?? WTF? Deposits ensure you wouldnt have to.. thats the point! There is no excuse for no recent contact when she has your money and no service was rendered. And it was her mistake. That is BS! Do a third email, if no contact do what you gatta do. 3 strikes and you're out.

Ive never had to "double" book, I dont get no call no shows.. some cancellations here and there, life happens. Now Im going to jinx myself.. lol Sucks because men become more hesitant to do "deposits" I would never do such a thing. I would suck up the loss, not screw over a guy who pre-paid me money..

So I emailed her a third and final time, and she finally responded.  Long story short, she had unexpected issues with her incall location and was trying to fix it before getting back to me.  She normally only does outcall, and thought she had found a workable incall option that turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.  She was very apologetic, and offered a refund.  Thinking that I'll still give her a chance, as she has no history of such snookering with other clients.  She probably could have communicated earlier to put me at ease, but I also believe it when she tells me that this was an unexpected complication.  Don't want to sully anyone's reputation unnecessarily, for now this has resolved itself in a good way.  Let's see how our session goes when it finally happens!
