should you mention:
massive stretch marks from childbirth or weight loss
surgical scars
tummy tucks
breast reduction
labia overhangs
bruises
or any other imperfections?

Read your reviews, if you are nasty, rude and super critical she may avoid seeing you. Your reviews are a reflection of you and what kind of man you are just as much as they are telling of the provider. They are very telling of the hobbiest.

Me when I say that the ladies read your prior reviews. I think this is a fact that allot of hobbiest fail to realize. You can give a review and not be a rude prick. When you ask about your responsibility to fellow hobbiest, it seems that you are telling me that you cannot give a review without being nasty and derogative. I think you should think about the responsibility to yourself and how you portray yourself within the community. At the end of the day like I said these reviews are a 2 way street.

When you leave a review the idea is to be honest based on 3 things-

Looks, Attitude and value for the $

If you spend say $500 but the service was sub-par or the provider looked nothing like the pics or had plenty of stretch marks, then say it, if she was business like, let it be known, she rushed you out or advertised as gfe but didn't even kiss you in hello, you need to write that, this community is all about giving and receiving. But if you spent $80 for a quickie, then dont expect much, everything is YMMV here, but yes in my opinion, accurate reviews will save rest of the hobbyist there $$ and will also help surface the GOOD providers.

One time I saw a provider with major acne on her face, and mentioned that in the review, and it was rejected by the TER admin.   I don't think anyone is a fan of acne and had I known prior, I wouldn't have booked the appt.   Another time I saw a provider (one of the top-rated ones for that matter) with little fungus spots all over the place, which usually indicates a yeast infection gone wild.  Again that review was rejected by the TER admin.

Both of these reviews required me to edit them and remove the references to the acne and spots in order to be approved

So I don't know what the answer really is...

So I never really got the impression that TER admin. were being partial to the ladies or the men for that matter. I'm not sure what happened with your 2. Seems strange. In fact, I've read some viscous and vulgar reviews that have gone up. :-/

Yes, so have I.   Far more vicious than mentioning skin conditions

I haven't had the pleasure of Sindee, but I think I understand her perspective at least. I'm sure Sindee knows that there are some girls out there whose looks, attitude, work habits etc. are a real turn off to most men. Her point, I take it, is that these failings can be described in polite and gentle terms, not in angry, graphic and and demeaning terms. From the perspective of the hobbiest, full candor is a must, as this board was established for the exchange of information about providers for fellow hobiests.

From my perspective, in answer to your original inquiry, be honest and forthright, in all of your comments and evaluations, both positive and negative. Just don't feel like you have to be over the top and nasty in your descriptions.

....it's not what you say but how.

Sometimes some guys can be very well-meaning (might be very nice guys even) in regards to trying to be honest about their experience but in the eyes of others reading it (especially providers) can seem too critical and nit-picky.

You don't want to disclose things that are going to give her away as far as identity, and you don't want to be insulting.

You want to be fair in a review and mention to reviewers that she has a different appearance than the photos, but you don't want to be insulting.

When in doubt, reverse the roles and think about whether you would want that written about you.

A provider once told me....be kind.  I like that. There is always a way to be tactful while disclosing information. This is not a review of a used car, it's a human being. You can still let others in on your opinions while remaining a gentleman.

I respectfully disagree with a lot of people on this board.

Why sugar coat the truth? Why throw a towel over a providers short coming? So you are telling me if you went to a 5 star restaurant and the bill came out to say $500 but the service and food both were shit, you would sugar coat the experience? Thats B.S., you would be angry and upset spending that kinda money and not feel like you got your $$$ worth!! Be fair and state the facts, dont glorify or tone down anything, let fellow hobbyist make the decision themselves.

And if providers are concerned with ter ratings then let them work hard on giving exceptional service, fairly representing themselves and know their worth. Enuff said!

> Why sugar coat the truth? Why throw a towel over a providers short coming?

Because you don't want to be blacklisted by other providers.

A restaurant critic, harsh on one establishment, is not denied seating at others.

Not necessarily true in the hobby.

Write what you want, but don't complain when your reviews backfire.
