How come no NY providers ever communicate anything on the board, with the exception of free advertising?

It would be nice to communicate with some of our local providers and to be able to exchange opinions and the like ...

It seems like a lot of the ladies go to the national discussion boards to "talk". Too bad. I'm sure a lady who posted more often would see a few more of us (is that a good thing?).

There is so much back and forth amongst providers and clients not only on the National Board but also on other regionals, like LA and Vegas.  I know that the providers in the NY area are at least equal to those gals in intellect, and it would be very refreshing to have some discussion here once in a while.

There is one that I know of that pops in on ocassion for discussions. I haven't had the pleasure yet, but I would love to.

It's wall-to-wall Provider Ads.  Some Providers use it four or five times a month.  What I find totally amazing is that even proven Rip-Offs use this falsely-labeled "Discussion Board" for advertising.  I guess there are some total loser hobbyists who don't even take the time to search reviews of providers who advertise.

I chat alot on the pornstar board and actually have not posted on the local board in some time. . . . . don't ask me why!! I enjoy engaging in a little board chit chat once in a while!! It is true, other boards around the country do see more back and forth between guys and gals. I do not think that  I have earned my "local provider" status as of yet but I figured what the heck. . . . my zip code is 10014 so I will force my way into the club!!! As long as the tone stays positive I will be more than happy to join a thread here and there!! Hugs and kisses NYC!!

I notice that too. Could Be we dont have as many local Independent providers as other places. We in NY are being swamped with Visitors from out of town. Now thats not necessarily a bad thing but I think with the "NY" prices they charge  , (and Hopefully not getting)maybe we can get prices in line with other areas of the country.
Anyway it would be great to have  Dialoge with some local ladies.

I personally like broaching topics on message boards. But the unfortunate thing is that there are many hobbyist that resent providers that seem to be intelligent. I actually had people on several different occasions E-mail me warnings not to oppose certain board members, or risk some kind of retribution. Many girls prefer to stay low key on the boards for their own peace of mind.

I can vouch that villagegirl is an intelligent, well-educated and vivacious person.  It is truly disappointing that the providers feel threatened, but anyone can read the long and unnecessarily vicious thread between villagegirl and a hobbyist of some weeks back and not be surprised at the reluctance of a provider to be subject to attack on this discussion forum.  What is it about us New Yorkers?  Is Lou Reed right---we deserve to be hated around the country?

Yes, intelligent providers are a mjor turn on and the ones that you want to marry.

TER allows providers who are members to post one ad per week on the regional boards, which is fine by me.  Only it woould be better if substantive issues, or even frivilous ones, were talked about from time to time.

to play devi's advocate (and not to pick on you, fortitude)....if it weren't for the provider's ads, the NYC board would be almost a ghost town.

And as said the ads are fine and dandy.  But some verbal intercourse would also be very nice.

In your twisted logic, the LA Board has more going on because LA hobbyists are less prejudiced against intelligent providers.  It's totally unfair for you to blame hobbyists for the utter sloth of NY providers.
