I'm not sure what your problem is with escorts, and why you consider these sugar babies better than escorts because they're not "prostituting themselves." Let's be very clear. Yes they are. You just found a cheaper way to do the same thing. Escorts don't want a man some day? Some do, some don't.  

Your advice is to try something different because, Oh god, we have a shelf life? This is ignorant.

I wish you all the best with your pursuits, but realize that not all men and women feel the way you do. We don't all have hours to spend at a time with a woman, nor do a lot of women feel that that is a good use of their time.

Not everyone here needs an overnight. Most guys here are time-constrained and want something near them. All negotiation which needs to be done in SD/SB are time consuming and for many annoying. There are absolutely nothing which settles the price, you can pay much less or much more, it's all to up to circumstances and pure luck. I guess, you are none what I describe, so it fascinates and excites you. When you walk in the store you see prices. Nothing similar is existant in SD/SB arrangements, so it can't be classified as business and exchange. Go to dating site, what makes it any different from from SB? I hobby with some regularity (4 or 5 times per month).  I spend time with several wonderful providers who are in high demand because they are the best at what they do.  Occasionally, if a touring provider or someone local catches my eye, I will screen and schedule with them and often add them to my list of friends.  I also use the services of an agency when I need a quick scratch to my itch.

These are ladies in their early 20's to mid-40s, with a median age of ~28.

Most of my appointments are 90 mins. to 2 hours.  I can't do overnights or nights on the town with my lady friends. Bummer, but that's the reality.

I have followed with great interest your posts and those of others on the "sugarboard" and might, under the right circumstances, try it some day, but the SD/SB option doesn't currently work for my lifestyle.

I'm sure there are other reasons that mongers might choose to remain hobbyists.  Those are mine.

Sugar babe are also not always cheaper. Things add up groceries cellphone car etc.  

I have done both sugar babe and escort arrangements.  Escort is a much better deal. You don't have to deal with the drama.

I posted this before, but the rates that a well reviewed lady from TER gets, $500+ an hour, $2k+ an overnight, have nothing to do with SB's.  

The main benefits of a SB are as follows...
1- Cheaper rates (these girls will accept $200-300 for a 1-2 hour meeting, or $400-600 for an overnight). If I'm paying more, I'd rather just drop $400-600 an hour for a top rated lady off TER. There's no guarantee a SB will have any talent in the bedroom, and there are all types of risks.  

2- The transaction can truly feel less "business oriented". If you have a monthly arrangement, you won't have to pay to take a SB to dinner, etc. For some guys it will feel more genuine. That being said, if I take a SB out to dinner she might not really dress up, or put the effort in that I'd get from a 5 star provider.  

The risks are as follows...
1- As I mentioned, it's a gamble. You might not get what you want/expect from a SB.  

2- You need to put a huge amount of time into an arrangement. You can't just book an overnight or 1-2 hour rendezvous and expect much from it. If you do this without a Meet and Greet first you're almost always just throwing money away.  

3- There are major risks if you're not single. A SB will likely want to know much more about you, etc, and can screw with your personal life if you have a SO.  

All in all, I don't really understand why people on TER are discussing SB's. The contrasts are truly night and day. Having a 1 time date with a SB, and not a monthly arrangement is like rolling the dice on Backpage, albeit with a smaller chance of LE involvement

There is a place for everyone in this industry. There is NO such thing as losing pricing power. Didn't you get the memo...Sooner or later the same SBs that you think you're getting over on, will be on this end. Granted there's a few SBs that are Naive. But most are whip smart, and have the likes of 3 of you, on heavy rotation!
