It's a gorgeous, modern hotel, and if you get the right room the views are spectacular! I'd highly suggest it.

I'm really excited for this shoot.  I love her style, and she really knows how to show off tats and piercings.

I would add:

Sunken bathrub with a view of the city from 55 floors up framing the window.  It goes on.  Perfect luxurious leather couches,  enormous rooms with high ceilings. . . .etc . ..

Are you going to be working out of the room too, or just doing a photoshoot in one?

The Empire Hotel.  A high floor suite overlooking Dante Park with the city lights and Broadway is spectacular.  Had a "meeting" there several years back and I always remember how amazing that room was with the HUGE living room, kind sized bed, small but high end appointed bathroom and again that view... can't miss

With hot cars . Just sayin , to many photographers take the same boring pics with the same boring pose with the same boring props ! Some us guys want , well watch a zz top video it two and you'll get the idea of what I'm talking about . xoxo sin. ( my statement us just in general , nothing to do with u ).

I am trying to learn photography and am looking for locations and like cool, trendy hotels. Just curious if any of these listed hotels offer like day rates or something besides full rack/overnight rates? Or do you have to just book it for overnight?

The rooms feature large porthole windows large enough to sit in. Even the hallways are great backdrops.

yes, outdoor pics look fresh and not so routine, Got to the beach girls, weather is great, pics will standout out above the others.

And the great thing about using your drop top Mercedes S600 is you can place it in a cool surrounding ... not just a showroom ... or a parking lot with distractions and unwanted reflections in the paint.
With a drop top I can be all over the car, in and out!

Silver , and I did dent the hood on another car once . Years ago , was making out and things got , well hot and I lifted her up and we went back , and my pants went down and her dress went up and the hood ? Well , if it could talk it would say DAMN that was some ride xoxo

anywhere outside...of course it would have to be a private place...first natural sunlight is the best lighting and will make the pictures very real....
of course there are many hotels but au natural in nature is the best!

Atlantic City , beach , boardwalk , and suites galore ! Some casino action , a nice dinner , then the dessert of your choice . And bib , a rock album , one if my gf is a dancer and drivers me crazy when she dances to their songs xoxo.

This is a related issue but seems to fit in this thread.

The photog should have volumes of photos to choose from. All the details should he gone over before the shoot. Also ownership if photos . If your going for different looks a make up artist is also a must. Nothing should rushed , and simple test photos should also be taken prior to the shoot. Black n white photos r a must 4 me . Just an extra added touch. And with a pro the price and packages should be inclusive . Vanessa , u do look great and a good photographer would go crazy with u. xoxo

My last shoot was at a quiet Bel Air hotel and I haven't been so relaxed in ages!  Had a private balcony backing up to the hills, a wood burning fireplace, it was heaven.  

Too funny, so true ... I do that too ...
and have an after shoot drink!

The provider should be her own Art Director in charge of what she wants....wardrobe, makeup, hair, lighting, style....the shots to take....all the photographer should be doing is the shooting, if you can't do it yourself...which imo, can be done. I have done all my own photography myself since day one. It's actually quite fun. I wasn't after the 'airbrushed' look  as I am an all natural girl thru and thru and wanted to depict that as best I could...but that was and is 'my' style, which is clearly not for everyone.  

Penthouse ? Because that photog is gonna jump out the window after about 30 minutes if listening to YOU tell him/her how to do their fucking job ? And don't worry your text is good , I couldn't have written it better myself !

Why do u pick the ones u do ? Simply put u like their work , if I'm wrong correct me . Each has a certain style , technique etc. If your going to TELL them how to do your shoot while the shoot is going on , you made an expensive mistake . Test shits are simple and FREE ! Am I saying U have no input , nope its your shoot and your photos , honestly u have glamour shots as do many girls and the remarks she made about getting dolled up and not looking "real" are insulting to most women . For me to say that your expertise needs to be respected ? That perhaps , two heads are better than 1 , and throw in a makeup artist and 3 , can and will result in an awesome shoot for all ?

The photography has a secondary goal, that's to get the right guy calling for the right girl. If I took pics that were edgy, gothic girl it would totally misrepresent who I am. I'm the girl in Dolce and Gabbana at dinner, and white silky pajamas in the morning. I'm the sweet, girl next door type. I wish I was Naomi Campbell or Kate Moss but I'm not!  
I have boobs (giant ones) and curves and I'm pretty white bread in general.  
My client needs to know this or he'll be disappointed. High fashion photographers will get the lighting I like, but do they know how to best shoot me? Sometimes.  

High quality shots . Alot of girls don't , and if you did make up your in the business . The best photos were Kylie Daniels , she perfected multiple portfolios on her site .
