Sorry Crazy but your a hypocrite. You hijacked this thread about the women at the Occupy protest by talking about the politics of the people protesting, your political point of view, which frankly no one gives a fuck about, and how stilted news organizations like Fox and the Wall Street Journal reported that there are STDs in the park just to associate anti-corporate types with some sort of sexual deviancy. If you want to talk politics go to the political board and leave this one alone. But god forbid if protesters may get in the way of your incredible viewpoint of humanity that the protesters are slackers who need a job and should just go out and work their way out of trouble because your entire focus on life seems to be that as long as you make enough money to hobby, the world is in great shape. How magnanimous of you to share that with us. You're a tool.

I saw the cover of the Post with an edited photo of a nude OWS protester and she was kind of hot in an alternative way (think Tattooed Asian Kim or a Suicide Girl). Do you think any of them would be amenable to escorting? Do you think they would be good lays?

I hear that lice (aka, creepy crawlers) and STD's were running rampant in the OWS camp, not to mention the violent crime.  :(

As for protesting, I have better things to do.  Such as working, investing, and hobbying.  While I sympathize with their plight, they need to learn that life is not a bowl of cherries where the outcome is guaranteed in their favor.  Best advice:  get a job, even if it's beneath you, until something better comes along.  As for expecting me to pay for their pot and sex party...sorry, no can do.

I remember the days when I was a teenager, and had to work for low wages.  At the time, it paid for weed, albums, concert tickets, lunch at the local pizzeria every day, and the $50 piece of shit that I drove until Jr. year in college.  Now, I drive a Lincoln, have a high paying job, my own house, and can afford to hobby and travel on my own terms.  Getting there wasn't easy...lots of hard work.  As for being a crybaby...if the hard guys and greasers that I grew up with didn't kick my ass enough times and teach me that Darwin was right...it's survival of the fittest...my old man did.

Just my three pennies, FWIW...

The problem is today's wages don't cover the cost of weed that's probably $400/oz (I don't smoke anymore so wouldn't know), concert tickets are as high as hundreds of dollars face value for the same ticket that was $9.50 back in 1980, and 2 slices of pizza and a soda is like $7 when it used to be a buck.   Based on this math, minimum wage should be like $24/hour, and a single person living on LI can't even get by on anything less than like $70k a year

Hey Crazy Diamond loved your post. Did you see Floyd back in the day? And I had heard about the sanitation and hygiene concerns being the reasons why the camp was shutdown. But if they got this nonsense out of their systems and got their hygiene together, I'ld do them.

Caught them again a couple of years later during The Wall tour as well.  Since then, been to a couple of Roger Waters shows, one by David Gilmour, and the one where they both played together.  At none of these, did they play my signature song, though there was always lots of good tunes from Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall.

As for the protests, I was just commenting.  If they want to waste their time in what has always been a futile gesture, they can knock themselves out.   The Federal government is more to blame for the current economic woes that they are suffering...if they were protesting in DC as they should, they would have much more support than they have now.

Lice, STD's, and violent crime? Where?
- Lice may have been an excuse to shut down the protest, but where's the evidence? If there was a lice infestation, wouldn't the department of health be showing up?
- How does one tell that there are STD's running rampant in ANY gathering of people? Is there some STD sensor that you can use to gauge the number of STD's in a crowd? If not, then how does ANYONE know how many STD's were running around?
- One person was arrested for shouting threats, but I didn't see or hear of any violent crimes. Here's a challenge for you. Anyone telling you that there were violent crimes going on, ask them to provide police reports sworn out by the victims.

These are outright lies told by people who have an interest in shutting down the protests. Ask these bloggers, pundits, and politicians to show the evidence, and watch them have nothing to say after that.

While you're at it, why don't you check out the protesters facebook page and read the signs they held at the beginning of the movement. They're not crying because they can't find a job. If that was the case, then why protest at Wall Street? It makes no sense. The protest was about Wall Street and other banks buying our politicians to the point where democracy becomes irrelevant. If Bank of America pays the Democrats AND the Republicans, no matter who you vote for, Bank of America will own the office of the President, and the President will no longer work for you. The movement was about ending corporate personhood and ending legal bribery of politicians.

Yes, I know they are all owned by the Evil Empire owned by Ruppert Murdock.  Lice infestations were reported, as were STD's, so I responded to the question as to whether I would play with any of the OWS ladies...answer, no, based on what I heard.  That was the question as I interpreted it, and I responded honestly.  As for throwing in a few digs politically, guilty as charged.  Politics are so fucked up across the entire world today, there seems to be no solution in sight.  I'd like to see a grand compromise that everyone can live with be reached, but I am not holding my breath.

I don't doubt that you're just repeating what you heard about STD's, but think for a minute. The person doing the reporting, how did they determine that there are STD's in the group? Did he take random blood samples and send them to the lab? Did he have some Star Trek scanner that can scan for STD's? Let's be honest, there is no way a reporter can know. The best explanation is that the reporter was lying.

As a hobbyist, I would rather be discreet, get laid, and not bring politics into the equation.  Anything that calls anything into question is reason to avoid.

Coming from someone who has no board presence, I will give it all the due consideration it's worth...

Does constant presence on this board mean I am not right? You don't even acknowledge what is being mentioned, because you are obviously in the state of denial about the realities of the world. And just because I don't spend my entire lifetime on this board posting comments on some of the more mundane topics, doesn't have anything to do with the fact of what you brought to this thread.

The opening of this entire piece asked if anyone thought that OWS ladies were potentially hot. All you could contribute was that those paragons of news reporting, led by Murdoch and Ailes, gave unsubstantiated reports about diseases being distributed by OWS participants. Any of these diseases could be found in a cross section of humans walking across the street in your neighborhood. You further accentuated your exalted position of yourself by telling everyone that your incredible history of working hard and taking menial jobs to start off with and getting ahead with proper diligence was the answer to the global economic recovery package for the world. What an idiot. You must be breaking your arm while you slap yourself on the back with self congratulations. If the government hadn't bailed out many of the financial institutions, they may have failed. All while they were their leaders were managing big bonuses and pay increases. And you too may have had to change your tune instead of living in the bubble that allows you to think that hobbying is the most important undertaking of the human experience.

You want to spend your time talking politics, go to the political board where we can talk politics until the problems of the world are solved. You want to talk about how you may or may not desire an Occupy girl, which is what the originator opened with, go for it. But please leave the politics out of this place.

And frankly, modifying your first statement about how you appreciated my opinion, to one where I don't spend enough time on this board, doesn't cut it. You think by posting more, that gives you more credibility? You are losing grip on reality. Maybe that's why you call yourself Crazy.

I just wanted to point out that at least one of your sources told an obvious lie.

If you want to bring it back to the hobbying topic, we can use an analogy. If one provider accuses another of having an STD, and you determine that the accuser is lying, do you avoid the accused or do you avoid the lying accuser? In your case, you seem to want to stick with the lying accuser. Is that a good precedent to set for this hobby?

This isn't an argument worth having.  You have your position, I have mine, and this isn't the place to debate further.  I would rather just have a beer at some M&G in the future, and debate about who the hottest babe is at the party, clink glasses, and go home with the best babe we each can.  I am done with this thread...

And the fact that she probably hooked up with other smelly guys in that encampment.  Pass.
