How wasn't it fair to her?

Whenever I have an appt at a private residence I call from a bar, a store, someplace quiet so I can hear myself and her. My phone is not good on the streets of Manhattan. So I do just that this morning and the girl asks me where I am. I tell her I am around the corner in the lobby of a gym. I explain my problem but she says she  needs to see me before giving me the apt# and to call her from the address she provided. I do that and can't hear a fucking thing. I mean nothing. I am on a major cross street with tons of trucks and buses. I duck into a grocery store and manage to get her number. I arrive, push the doorbell and from that slight pressure the door opens. She appears and I immediately notice she is fully clothed rather than wearing the skimpy outfit I requested. I haven't even entered the apt yet and her first words to me are "You shouldn't have opened the door. I open the door". OK. Now is the point of this whole preamble... I got a real bad vibe and knew that I had to make a decision in a nano second - stay or bail. I bailed. First time for me and I am proud of myself. Anyone else ever bail that quickly....

1. You're an experienced hobbyist. I'm sure you did your normal due diligence in selecting this girl. This situation might have turned around with a little TLC.
2. I'm not sure i would have posted this experience under my regular handle. Do you want a rep for bailing?
3. Get yourself a cell phone provider that WORKS!!

Good for you cspatz.  I have hit the abort button four times in my career.
First time - The girl looked NOTHING like the girl in the pic (this was before my TER days)
Second time - The apartment was incredibly filthy with garbage and crap everyway.  I figured if she can't even keep her apartment in decent order, what is her hygene going to be like
Third time - When she opened the door I could see the back of the room because the cig smoke was so thick.
Last time - Call it my spidey sense.  Similar to your situation, something was just not right.
Made a good decision each time and I subsequently treated myself to a CLEAR upgrade after each instance.

I usually just give in an figure it is only money...  But applaud you!  I've gotten to a point here unless there are a few good reviews I won't partake.  In that regard TER is very valuable!   Can you let us know who the provider was?  Look this is a service business and they are asking for our hard earned dollars..  One other thing, I hate it when I ask a direct question and they tell me "I don't discuss that over the phone". Had one today, and the question was " do we both get naked." and she took offense...  It was for BDSM...I guess the answer was no...  No reason not to answer except to get my money.   Can't believe the " I open the door" is comical.....have a good weekend...

Ladies Gets Nerves too Honey. I dont think that was fair to her, she probably has a routine and you calling from a quite place let her to believe you were not at her location

you provided your Ter ID to her and have Whitelist references. You should have just left at that point.  Sounds like a Backpage hustler cspatz.

I've only had one experience like that about 5 yrs ago and I stayed which was a total waste of time and money.

Pm me if you want.

1. Yes, I did my due diligence and she seemed right up my alley.
2. I post under cspatz because I am cspatz and this one blip does not give me a rep for bailing.
3. Good idea!

You must trust your gut and ultimately it's your right to not go through with something if you don't want to.

Using your real handle is laudable. I wish more board members stood behind their words and actions. Also, the scenario you present sounds as though it was a most appropriate time to walk away. The response, "I open the door," sets an awkward mood, unless she told you that was her rule in advance.

She started the session with a pissy attitude, complaining about something that really wasn't his fault.  Nothing is worse than spending time with a provider that has zero tact anyway.  No, he was more than fair.
