Does working out make you more horney? I'm horny all the time, so i had to do my research and this what I found

It's supposed to increase your sex drive. Not only that, it's supposed to make you a better lover because you can go at it longer with better stamina if you're working out.

Since more exercise = higher testosterone, and higher testosterone = more sex drive,

I'm relaxed now to find out that its normal for a girl to be horney all the time : )
have a lusty day guys.

Given Ms. Banks’ past colorful posts, not sure if she is being serious or tongue in check, so to speak. But the question she poses is interesting. Whether the idea of exercising or any practiced endeavor can take the place of sex, or instead increases the desire for it. There are examples such as the Shakers, producers of the great furniture and art, who claimed celibacy was responsible for the beauty and craftsmanship of the pieces they built. They stated that the sexual energy they saved went into the furniture they produced. And those pieces that have survived are highly praised and priced even a hundred years later today. The intensity factor probably comes into play here as well. Some people exercise more intensely than others and as such may influence the sexual desire or lack of after. Ms. Banks says she gets a need for sex after exercise and given her photos I’d say she’s exercising at a high level. I too workout usually at an intense level, my business somewhat depends on this, but I find that I’m not even thinking about sex after a workout. I also find the same lack of sexual desire after s good practice session on the guitar or a knocking out a few good pages writing. So maybe it’s doing something that allows me to workout energy that affects me so. I’ll say this, the exercising has not only kept me in shape but also allowed my bank account to become much healthier. For now when I consider seeing a provider I’ve learned it better to wait and reconsider after a trip to the gym or sitting down with the guitar. And usually that desire is no longer is there.

As far as the idea of exercise adding to the duration or ability to have sex, it’s known that a certain % of ED cases are a product of nothing more than poor circulation, which could be alleviated with a regular cardio program, but then again we live in an easy fix society so the little blue pill thrives, as does the dividend on my pharmaceutical stocks☺ So stay away from the gym guys,  and keep taking those drugs.

How then would you explain that as a middle aged guy who does not work out I (we) are always horney?
Stamina, always had it.
Testosterone levels normal (we all get them checked on out annual physicals).
Women, I agree, when they work out their T levels increase making them hornier and more aggressive.

if you have a job that requires a lot of physical movement, thats similar to exercise, I don't know that you need to hit the gym to stay in shape. A little extra cardio will never hurt and depending on what type of physical labor you a gym can help you "even out" your exercise across your body. For those of us who sit behind a desk pushing a pencil or mouse most of the day, the exercise becomes a lot more important.

When I was in my 30's i had maybe a few extra pounds to lose, but wasn't in awful shape, after 40 things went downhill, sometimes I would get winded just climbing the stairs. Joined a gym two years ago was one of best decisions I made. If you are exceptionally motivated you can do it yourself, but I found having a trainer is worth the expense. If you cancel on him you still have to pay, so that acts as a motivator. Plus the trainer is going to push you a lot harder than you are going to push yourself. My trainer tells me its his job to push me up to my limit everytime, without hurting myself. When he goes on vacation and I follow some of the same routines I do with him, I don't push myself anywhere near as hard, and am not as tired when I'm done.

Does working out make you more horny? Well there are a lot better looking girls in yoga pants walking around the gym than anyplace else during my day, and that makes me horny. I will admit to scheduling gym time to coincide with a yoga class or spinning class on occasion.

But seriously I don't think going to the gym made me hornier, but it does help my performance and endurance during sex.

Also I'm not a doctor, and not qualified to give medical advice, but if you are taking any ED pills watch how close you take them to exercising.

YES!
Physical benefits - the ones we see in the mirror - more sculpted muscles, lower fat, higher cardiovascular endurance = better physically able to handle/sustain sex.
Physiological benefits - the endorphins and other hormones (testosterone is but one that affects sex drive and mood) that result from working out = better "chemical soup" going on inside increases desire for sex.
Psychological benefits - feeling more comfortable in our own skin (since we look so much better and aren't embarrassed/ashamed of being out of shape), feeling sexier, wanting to wear more revealing/fitted clothing (makes us more attractive to the opposite sex), confidence, etc.

Though I may be wiped out for a few hours after a hard workout, give me a few hours rest and some nutrition and I'm raring to go.  ;-)  Regular strenuous exercise is HUGE for all aspects of one's sex life!

IME...

Yogis are more flexible, have better stamina, and that makes a better sensual experience.

Putting all of the cardio-vascular benefits aside (stamina, improved blood supply and flow etc..)
The neurologic component explains much of this!
Stimulating the spindles of the striated musclulature directly drives (or stimulates) the parietal lobe of the brain. The parietal lobe is directly responsible for the sensations that we perceive.
However, if one works out and goes directly to sexual activity, certain areas of the brain become activated (the limbic region) in what could be considered a Pavlovian response. Certain receptor sites...especially those responsible for pleasure just light up like a Christmas tree and through a cascading flow of hormones and neuromechanical stimuli, increased libido occurs!
It's similar in many facets of daily life such as those who don't smoke cigarettes unless they drink alcohol or how a sensory stimulus such as a smell or taste evoke memories of a pleasant or unpleasant nature.
The tantrists achieve alot of this without realizing the direct mechanism. This expalins the non-stimulatory orgasm or even the non-ejaculatory orgasms.

But then again... I could be wrong and you're just naturally horney!!
