So... I was supposed to see a new friend but woke up with a cold, sneezing and coughing....I was a new friend... so I explained and she understood and thanked me for telling her.  I wanted to try to see her anyway, but thought it unfair not to disclose......I mean, this circle of ours can be risky from a health prospective, but why make it worse even if it’s just a cold.....That said.....

For the guys - would you see a provider when you have a cold (even slight)?
Would you tell her beforehand (giving her the option of cancelling or simply cancel?

For the ladies - would you see a guy with a cold? Would you want to have the option?  Would you rather the cancellation?

I admit that I am horrible at scheduling and catching a cold complicates it.....sadly

No way Jose. For someone whose handle is ALadyLover, you certainly don't seem like you would love a lady and subject her to a cold. It is the unwritten law not to expose either a provider or her client to a cold or any risk of illness. So be it.

I never hobby when I am sick.  I'd hate to get a girl sick and make her miss work.  But it seems like many of them work through being sick anyway.

I notice girls sniffling all the time.  Is it a cold?  A coke problem?  Allergies and dust?  Or maybe it comes from all the heavy breathing during sex.  Usually I don't notice it until it's too late.  All you can do is pound down some extra vitamin C and hope for the best.

Contact the lady and let her know that you have a cold, and should cancel.  Chances are, she will abide with your decision.

Thereafter, stay on the sidelines until you are feeling better.  If possible, reschedule with the lady when you are back up to speed...

Of course it's a bad idea to see someone intimately when you're sick.  You did the right thing.

I would not see a provider if I were sick.  It's just not courteous to her.

I will never see a client if I am not feeling well....I simply can't do it. I prefer to cancel or reschedule.
I am a bit germophobic so I definitely prefer if the gentlemen are honest and tell me - before heading to my place - that they are sick.
Not only I will be uncomfortable if he starts to cough and sneeze...I will also tell him I can't perform and send him home.
For us, being sick means days without working and, for some ladies, that can be a problem if they are touring and cannot cancel their engagements (most pay for their hotels ahead of time to get good deals).
Also, I don't think you would want to see a lady who has a flu, right? So, do the right thing and do not hobby when you have the sniffles.

The only problem is girls can't deep throat with a cold - no way to breathe through the nose with a cock down the wind pipe.

the gents understood..however..it just puts everyone in a bad place..if your sick..be concerned enough about others to not give them your cold...ag

Whether or not I would see someone with a cold depends entirely on what sort of week I have after that. If I have an intense week at the office afterwards, am about to travel, I would probably opt out. I would have to opt out if I were planning to meet with another gent that same week.  However, if I knew I'd just have a fairly monotonous week afterward, I would likely see a gent with a cold - I'd just try and prepare with zinc and vitamin C.  If it were in Toronto I would likely show up with some homemade chicken soup for the lad.  I might however be less likely to want to do a lot of kissing as an additional preventative measure.

I have always told gents when I myself have come down with a cold. The vast majority of the time they ask me to come anyway. In one case I had a travel date planned and came down with a terrible flu. Instead of canceling our date, we changed plans and he flew into Toronto. We spent three days in our hotel room where he nursed me, we had gentle lazy play, and we both took lots of naps together. It was very sweet and very memorable.
