I was wondering what cards people use (if not their real credit cards) to retain VIP access.  I have a Vanilla Visa debit card but that did not work and my green dot MasterCard did not work. When I tried, it said transaction denied.  What cards to other people use that will work?

I used a green dot, but you have to wait for the one they send you in the mail (can't do overseas transactions with the one you buy at the store, they told me.)

I believe that there were some regulatory changes in 2012 that made international purchases with non-reloadable debit/credit gift cards (the truly anonymous kind, e.g. Vanilla, Simon) impossible in the US. The only cards I have seen now that work for international online purchases are the reloadable (not anonymous) kind.

TER used TrustCash for a while.  It looked really convenient ... but I didn't need to use it yet.  

Yes.  Trust abs. I've used that.... Worked great.  TER told me right now it's regular credit card only ;(
