I was wondering what cards people use (if not their real credit cards) to retain VIP access. I have a Vanilla Visa debit card but that did not work and my green dot MasterCard did not work. When I tried, it said transaction denied. What cards to other people use that will work?

I believe that there were some regulatory changes in 2012 that made international purchases with non-reloadable debit/credit gift cards (the truly anonymous kind, e.g. Vanilla, Simon) impossible in the US. The only cards I have seen now that work for international online purchases are the reloadable (not anonymous) kind.
Would be nice to see TER offer a method that helped US subscribers retain anonymity, if one yet exists - maybe there are options with MoneyGram or WU? Bitcoin?
Would love to hear if someone has truly figured this out.
