eing from California. I listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, 311,  Journey,Janis Joplin, Hendrix.... (recognizing a trend?) and and think to myself: this is the California sound. Like I said this is from my personal perspective.

Hard to believe that she is British ..she just belongs to NYC  

New York has a pretty large hard rock fan base that seems to have died out or moved to New Jersey. I don't think there is any rock stations in New York City anymore. In the 1990s there were still clubs that had live local hard rock band playing but that dried up. I see hip hop is huge now in NYC among the youth, Pop music  (as always the case everywhere) and in Brooklyn you have these Hipster groups that are a mix of sounds. but classic rock and hard rock is dead in NYC.

Where I love to go - of course they are not just about pop and rock .. yet if you will follow the calendar you may see new rising talents and quite establish and very  nice private venue .

Saint Vitus is my other favorite place- hard rock - not fore everybody ..
 I generally know  other places  as well yet I am not bit fan of new rising talents who can  be better AC DC or Black sabbath..

Would you agree with him?   Any way I will point you to right direction in new rising bands now as well - but thing is - they are more as pop rock.. I am big fan of true rock, hard rock ( yes yes I love Bach and Mozart and Hydan and Shubert songs and all classics - yet - I am no less am in rock music.  
There was a time people made a fun of me as I am ZZ Top kind of woman - Yes I love them as well as well as I am crazy about Little Richard.  
Who say his interview where he - an adult man started cry when he was asked about his father and how much he was hurt? And how darling he loved his mother. It is whom I still want to meet in person - That is my dream as well as I would like to meet and D Trump. That would be a fun person to talk Can you imagine Putin and Trump partying together? , how much fun it would be? And no wars just pretty women around them?!
