May 2004, with a provider named Sexy Toni from Florida. I'm still friends with her after all this time (love her, in fact), and see her whenever she travels to NYC and environs...if I had to live it again, I would change nothing.
As for choosing a provider for your first time, do your homework, and gain as much knowledge as possible before deciding. But when the time comes to decide, don't be afraid, just go for it. You'll be glad you did!
My first time with a provider was prior to TER, when all you had was adult magazines with ads. I was in my 20's. She was early 20's. If I had to do it again, I would (assuming TER exists):
- Find a lady in her 30's who lists interests on her site that I find interesting myself.
- Make sure she is more on the GFE side, who likes to kiss.
- Icing on the cake would be a lady who liked to shower with me before the real "intimate" activities began.
I would also, once you actually meet, let her know this will be your first time. One reason I like seeing ladies in their 30's and beyond is they more often seem to have appreciation for situations like that (even if not your first time, they seem to handle the "I'm a bit nervous" situation better). They also have more interesting perspectives to share since they have lived a bit of life at that point.
As to having some similar interests, since there will be some down time (refractory), it is always a delight to be able to engage a lady mentally in common interests. Then the time, when you think back upon it, will be more than a series of acronyms (DATY, CG, Mish, RCG, etc.).
There are a number of ladies I have had the pleasure of meeting on my reviews list that I would have been lucky to have been able to have my first time with. As it is, we did have our own "first time", and am looking forward to many more "times" in the future
