Me and my buddy were discussing this the other night. He says you don't tip specials, he had a session for 160, and when he was done he left. I said should've at least left a 20, he said no it's a special...

how do you guys feel about this

It seems that some providers expect and/or ask for a tip after every session, no matter how much effort they put in.  While different for obvious reasons, "escorting" is a service industry, and should be treated as such when it comes to tipping.

A tip has lost its meaning in the US.  A tip is a gratuity for superior service rendered.  If a service provider provides service above and beyond what is the standard, a moderate tip is ok.  If a provider gives you standard service, or less than standard, a tip should NEVER be given.  All it does is reinforce the idea that it's ok to give sub-standard service.

BTW-giving a tip to a provider simply because you think that they don't charge enough is just plain wrong.  If they feel like they deserved more, they should charge more.

I think that tipping is a very personal thing for a guy.  My own view is that a girl's donation should be all inclusive and even when she's running a special it should remain that way.  Tipping is a personal thing in this business and not akin to visiting your local bar or restaurant.  My personal preference is for my dates to present gifts that we can both enjoy: wine, room service or desserts.

I have REASONABLE rates by CHOICE, keeps my steady clients, i ALWAYS hear i should charge more, most give more due to it. That is a tip, giving good service with a good rate does gets me more tips.

"Because YOU think that THEY don't charge enough is just plain wrong. If THEY feel like they deserved more...." That makes no sense. Plenty of men tip me quiet a lot because i don't charge enough. I rather be reasonable with nicer tips, then 400/hr and open slots.. I keep up with economy and keep steady clients/regulars that way.
