Greetings to all providers....Newby amature question...I know cash is king but I hate carrying all that cash on me to see a provider and my bank limits my withdrawal totals from the ATM so I am wondering are there any NYC based providers that accept payments via alternate payment methods like bitcoin or credit/debit cards/gift cards.

As far as I'm aware some bookkeeping systems offer the option of accepting cc payments. I'm thinking that maybe some providers go that route.  

Personally, I started collecting small deposits in the amount of 10-20% in cases of booking a hosting spot or traveling for an appointment, via a couple of different merchants.  

Depending on the trust level between lady and gent, checks can also work.  

Bitcoins seem to be common too. As for me, I'm not comfortable using it as currency because the values fluctuate so much.

Most times I actually prefer these methods because carrying a lot of cash it slightly annoying.

I accept giftcards and bitcoin but only if pre-paid for the appointment in advance.  If you have a balance remaining to be paid at the time of the appointment, that must be paid in cash only.

Policy works great for me so far!

tricky....  for long term established clientele most likely only....   thoughts?
