I am planning a trip to your great city in October to celebrate my birthday with some friends.  This will be our first trip and am sortof lost.  So that is where I am hoping you guys will guide me. (smile)

We would like to know what part of town is the best to stay in.  As far as GREAT clubs!!  We are from Mid Missouri and I hear NY clubs are NOTHING like ours. LOL  So we are very excited!!  We also might like to hit some swingers clubs also.  So any and all help are greatly appreciated!!  You can email me or IM me here.

get a copy of TIME-OUT.

you might want to stay centered,,,, so around lower midtown(6th ave/23rd st). there are also 3 subway stops near abouts. also,,,,,the times square subway station will take you anywhere you want. all of this unless you prefer to cab it, of course.

upper west, upper east, midtown, are probably where you WON'T be hanging out. my guess is from chelsea(23rd-14th) and below is where you'll want to be. but like i said, i'm no clubber. get time-out and the voice.

I know nothing about clubs, but are you coming to NYC solely on, ummm, pleasure? No business?
